Nice to see some a new face in here.

Thanks for your comments, Lars and Derry

Here is the first of many pictures with spires ect:

It looks like this as new. As times goes by the brown copper will turn green.
And in Copenhagen it's really green, because of the salty sound close by.

Like on this building close by:

These pics really show off the old-world beauty of Copenhagen, Arne. I'm so glad you're sharing them with us. It must be a treat to see them on a daily basis. The intricate designs and impeccable craftsmanship are stunning, especially in that last photo.

Here is two pictures I saw in a blog called Copenhagen Cycle Chic:

As you can see we have got some snow, but still people bike around here. It's just the easiest way to get around the city.
It's only about 40 % of the people in Copenhagen that has a car. There is no need for it.
Get home from I park my car. Then it's on to the bike to shop, visit friends, go out.....

Your photos of Copenhagen are stunning, Arne. This last one makes me wonder if those bicycle seats have a built-in defroster, though. :D

Joan: Sound like a good idea, but no.

It was a cold trip this morning. It was around -5 °C / 23 °F this morning.

Well it's a matter of spending 30 minutes on the bike or 40-50 minutes by train, bus and foot. I prefer the bike any time.
Just need to remember to get the bike down in the cellar over night in this weather.

Guillaume: It has been snowing so much so people here has been skiing (alpine (on a small hill) and nordic)

Well, I've got small hills around my village and children go skiing there $%Grinno$% And for the temperatures, it's the same, we had -5°C this morning (I think it was worth this night) ::)

Small hill, compared to your hills should be VERY small hill. :P  :D

Found a new hangout, where I can get my coffee:

This one is even closer to my place than Ricco's.

It got the most simple name: Kaffe
translated: Coffee.

and the four letters under the sign says, Åben = open

Here is a night shot, I took on a long walk yesterday:

It's the main entrance to Tivoli. An old amusement park.
It was build on the old fortification and opened in 1843.

That night shot is absolutely breathtaking, Vester! Wish we had that building on the LEX **hint, hint** And don't forget to put the Christmas lights on it. ;)
