I've got an ambulance model in Gmax that I intend to export for use as in-game automata. I've done it before so I know what's involved.

My question is this: See those little lights around the top? Each one of those is a separate plane, which shows up as a separate tab in the Anim frame in Reader. So that's one for the shadow, one for the undercarriage, one for the main van body, one for the lightbar, one for the top box thing, and fourteen for all those lights*. And they all use a single texture. So how can I crunch those 14 lights into one tab in the Anim frame? If I can do that it'll be a lot easier assigning each one a number for its texture from the Mats tab.

* My police car models (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=4904.msg304386;topicseen#msg304386), by contrast, mostly have 4 total, since they don't have any such lights around the top.
Select one of them, apply an Edit Poly command, if it's not already an editable Poly. Find attach and select the others.
I've managed to somehow make that not work. I've converted them into an Editable Poly and attached them all to the light Gmax called Plane01. When I click on one light, a selection box comes up around all of them, but when I export into Reader, there are still way too many tabs to assign materials to in Reader.
...It worked, thanks! I forgot that I'd added some tire details which also needed to be attached.
Now it'll be a LOT easier to crank out the German police vans...
