Welcome to SC4D then! Interesting and excellent start. I'm looking forward to seeing what you're planning!
I think site 2 is best because the hard dirt means more minerals which means a higher mining company profits. And the bottom line is what it's all about.
Plus - I am confident that the railroad engineers will find an inexpensive route to bring those raw materals to market. I don't think it is a much of a con as you fear.
By the way - get those mining company lawyers busy and negotiate the mineral rights to site one. You don't necessarily have to dig right now. But you should be thinking one step ahead of those green Sims.

After the dust settles, its obvious that the mountain is gone.
The carefully directed blast blows the dirt away into a new mountain, buriing all the trees in the area.

Carvey Bridge is getting old, and is in need of an upgrade.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi492.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Frr287%2Fmarshallbernier%2FEverglade%2FEverglade-Sep191301265342000.png&hash=3bf25bb95b805b9d407c648293feb18aa8bb4b53)
The bridge has over 400 cars traveling over it. This is alot of traffic for a simple street, so a road upgrade is neccesary.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi492.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Frr287%2Fmarshallbernier%2FEverglade%2Fimg0000-2.jpg&hash=34a5ed0b3637fda686c68675b4278f70a66a5b0b)
A site was chosen a bit further up the river, you can see a small bit of the Carvey Biridge in the bottom right corner.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi492.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Frr287%2Fmarshallbernier%2FEverglade%2FEverglade-Nov161301265342163.png&hash=15be5820175fbe01ccbe3e1343b3385a5b0da3eb)
Some more buldozing and terraforming...

Now 600 vehicles travle over the new bridge now, thats more then last time. Its because now some other people are using the bridge, reliving some stress on the Claiud Bridge.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi492.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Frr287%2Fmarshallbernier%2FEverglade%2Fimg0001-3.jpg&hash=2ea3dfb864d4fea2944802bdf9fce325f1ad04ca)
The old bridge now only has about 100 cars going over it.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi492.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Frr287%2Fmarshallbernier%2FEverglade%2Fimg0002-2.jpg&hash=496af406d1642fb241ced48e52ebd1871f61314f)
And the old Treffor building which was abandoned was replaced because of the new traffic volume, bringing in more business.

EVERYONE: Sory about all the photos in the preivious updates.
A recent proposal has been made. It is a rail line from Boston, (CSGdesigns Boston) to Everglade.
CSG's BOSTON- http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=9440.0 (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=9440.0)
The plan is (at the moment) for the outskirts of the cities through the rural areas inbeetween, a single track rail. And so there can be more trains running, in some of the towns along the route the track goes to a double track, so a train can be stopped at a station waiting for the track to be clear.
The single track will in-turn cut costs and when a doulble track is needed, a second one can be built right next to the old one.
The route is shown below.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.csgdesign.com.au%2Fuploads%2FSC4%2FBlog%2FProposal01.jpg&hash=85f4f3c93dc0320fb1c596d957e2014acbdbb9e6)

Yesterday a plan was drafted by E.T.A. (Everglade Transit Authority) It shows all the rail to be built in Everglade over the next 5 years. Some of the areas rail is planned to go does not need a rail line yet, but once it is time to build it, it will need it.
So... the map is counfusing to understand, ill try and explain.

That looks like a very scattered rail plan. Is the southbound Phase 2 the one planned leading to Boston?

The largest project for the Boston-Everglade Railroad is the Charleston Inlet Bridge. It will be more expensive then the entire Phase 1 rail project rail.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg714.imageshack.us%2Fimg714%2F5571%2Fopiumpointdec1652126557.png&hash=4b6537f1701918aed46aa15ec1e2678ca4d0540f)
On the south side of the inlet, this area will be the cheapest to construct.

This is the plan for the bridge. It is currently going through the City Hall Concilliers for a permit. The Current road their will have to be redirected in order to comform with the grade of the rail.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg96.imageshack.us%2Fimg96%2F5717%2Fopiumpointjul1453126557.png&hash=fcd51041838b6a66bd51a088c1f048c0ff177888)
The North Side of the inlet is going to be VERY Expensive. The bridge needs to be a certain height in order for ferries and other boats to be able to travele under it safley. So the land on that side hast to be heavily terraformed to compensate.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg692.imageshack.us%2Fimg692%2F8236%2Fopiumpointfeb5551265575.png&hash=a30a5dbe8ef8543a57645582472d1ff21a3b2de2)
The middle section of the bridge is an island which will be heavily terraformed for the turning track. The track turns because the only place that the bridge can be built is on complete oppisite sides of the inlet. This is because a rail needs a VERY stedy grade. If this was a road bridge, it would be much easier to build.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg705.imageshack.us%2Fimg705%2F8236%2Fopiumpointfeb5551265575.png&hash=1953f19bebc1f08f036fa3e0fe51c0afedab28ca)
Thats all for today!!
Untill next time!!

emgmod: Yes that one is the one going to Boston. Yes, It is very scattered but the plans are almost certain to change over the years. All the planned rail on the Draft should be completed by 1998. And due to to certainly expected growth, the plans are expexted to change to compensate.
marsh,
It looks like you are off to a good start here.
I just hope that you are going to fix the the broken links and please post your pics as jpgs as it takes a very long time to load. Also, maximum picture size is 1024 by 800, please resize your pics as soon as possible.
It might be a good idea if your read over the MD rules. You can find them

Of the pictures i am able to see, this is real great. Its a wonderful region. Looking forward for more.
Nice region and a nice project (there would be some people who'd said that this wasn't a surprise at all ...)
For the grades: YES! But here is a RL - example (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rendsburg) on how to slove this problem! (The German page (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rendsburger_Hochbr%C3%BCcke) provides some more pictures and details, though)
Take care
Bernhard

Q-Tips: thanks man, again, sorry about the pics.
Nardo69: thanks. as for the bridge idea, thats great! although I wouldnt know how to replicate this in SimCity. I was also thinking about a Drawbridge, but again. If you know of anything let me know, it would be great!

Central Everglade is growing even more. Along with that comes more wealthy residents. And rich people want alot of nice stuff. And the
people who build that nice stuff are other rich people who want it.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg109.imageshack.us%2Fimg109%2F9710%2Fimg0003wq.jpg&hash=455bdef4fce397f58eda29f3608a4166b1c29bce)
Mr. Salvidore Comraste' (who lives in the large red Victorian mansion seen below.) Wanted to be able to park his yaut at an easily accesible
dock. Instead of parked out in the bay having to use a little moterboat to drive all the way to shore.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg28.imageshack.us%2Fimg28%2F9720%2Fimg0005y.jpg&hash=8bf86cf7bd51959350906a407a8577a430f4d34c)
He figured that the best place to build it would be a bit North of the "Everglade Seaside Estates", which he live a little south of.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg109.imageshack.us%2Fimg109%2F6403%2Fimg0006ko.jpg&hash=dff59946997e2c97c142dd5979de7156d3b8dffd)
So the trees that where grown on the small coast wher taken down, (and to support the enviorment they were used to help build the dock)
and the houses where also torn down.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg39.imageshack.us%2Fimg39%2F2359%2Fimg0007hp.jpg&hash=91f12b4d17862c45d463a777dad01687af6b3391)
Soon the large dock was constructed. Resedents were already looking pleased.

The dock was finished and already was in operation, but rich people need more than that. They need trees and tennis courts. They cant just
have a marina....

OTHER GOING-ONS IN EVERGLADE
The tallest commercial building in Everglade is "The Pinicle". It sits right next to city hall and is home to many buisness corporations.

Emityville Community College also makes its home in Everglade. Many midrise residential buildings sprung up around here to provide
homes for the students going there.

Another large residential building was built in Everglade not long ago. It was built along the Justo river on Everglade Island. The Justo
River is becoming very desirible area for rich residents in Central Everglade.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg42.imageshack.us%2Fimg42%2F8154%2Fimg0017shu.jpg&hash=f2a7a8912758e24e1bc38fa92930cf7a0ca4054d)
The first luxury car lot was also built. Instead of having to pay to import the cars, people now can buy them at a lower pice.

Central Park is the largest Urban Park in Everglade. Once the city gains more funds, grass will be planted in the park, along with a base ball
Park, tenniss courts, and a picnic area.

Developers are also eying these island which reside in the bay. Not neccicarily buildings, but for a kind of... "mini" getaway island.

Very nice.
I really like how this is unfolding - the capturing your buildings as they grow is a really nice touch.
Nice update, that condo next to the marina must have a nice view
Very neat update. Cool to see the marina have an immediate impact on the neighbourhood.

As you can see, Everglade is located pretty close to the edge of the reigion because of the natural features of the reigion. When it grows
bigger it will reach the edge of it. So I decided that more room is needed.
First, I open the reigions config, (while of corse making a back-up)
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg195.imageshack.us%2Fimg195%2F7959%2Fimg0032tb.jpg&hash=a5bb541c84e18bdf54dae1f5eddc4a6a8deed104)
Then to see it better, I zoom in. I Expand the bottom side of the config by a width of a square.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg708.imageshack.us%2Fimg708%2F2436%2Fimg0034my.jpg&hash=492001312b7fc441e96b5afc408c89eb5e05721e)
...and color it in.

And the final product.....
The old reigion...

It still needs some detail work to blend in better, but so far Its decent.

As Everglade grows, more and more power is needed. With more power plants comes more and more pollution. So instead of building more polluting plants, why not just build cleaner plants for a cheaper cost?
...So, that was planned. An old farm near the Reaserch District (high-tech industry) was bought.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg651.imageshack.us%2Fimg651%2F4036%2Fimg0001g.jpg&hash=bc42bd68875f557877125760c3d16df0da78f4fc)
The old field was plowed over and then leveled to provide a good base for the plant.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg194.imageshack.us%2Fimg194%2F1565%2Fimg0002mo.jpg&hash=649862721caaf4a12916082ccb8e07e4ed813467)
The first half of the plant was built and was already in operation.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg196.imageshack.us%2Fimg196%2F2742%2Fimg0003sl.jpg&hash=98c07fa7d3e65dc542c568da85bfc76ccb770a18)
A bit later the second half was completed.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg688.imageshack.us%2Fimg688%2F2646%2Fimg0004va.jpg&hash=c0c0fa5f637227697f00052c14710ee5039f7f31)
Soon the rest of the land was open to development. Some houses and busnesses set up, and a small park was built to the left of the
complex.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg64.imageshack.us%2Fimg64%2F5662%2Fimg0005na.jpg&hash=52f8cb1ebc2283ecfdfd6405fc8d6958073d72eb)
Now that the new plant is built, the old polluting plants can be shut down... permanatly. Resedents, as well as city officials have been baffled
ever since the plant was built. When it was constructed oil was relitivly cheap to import. Now its getting pretty expensive. It was waaaaay better
to build a solar plant which requiers almost zero mantaince.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg196.imageshack.us%2Fimg196%2F1939%2Fimg0006uv.jpg&hash=d7c8293f5241805487ab8b1f1903fbe37493addb)
So the charges wher set and......5.....4.....3.....2.....1............
BOOM!!!!
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg688.imageshack.us%2Fimg688%2F5370%2Fimg0008o.jpg&hash=37ac31e77a7e02adf1d4589f874fb59981f68c75)
When the land was opened up, the city decided not to develop it, and instead built parks in there place. The Wherehouse district is very
polluted, and more factories would not help.
So in one spot, some picnic grounds where built to provide workers a nicer place to eat lunch instead of having to eat with soot covered food.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg716.imageshack.us%2Fimg716%2F323%2Fimg0009nx.jpg&hash=f1a5343d8b5c8d730c0da3f14ab719c42cec8f7c)
In the other spot, two basketball courts wher built to give workers some fun on lunch. Although they cant play for long... the dirty air dosent
allow for the sim body to breath well.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg51.imageshack.us%2Fimg51%2F418%2Fimg0010ws.jpg&hash=eed6a5db1589e4991f53d511d1c0aad89a05bf10)

Nice update! You don't see that kind of industrial areas much in here, so I like it! I also like you play the 'national growth' thing. I try to do that myself too.
I see you build marinas and solar plants, but when do you think it is the time to build them? Do you watch when your city can afford them (making profit)?
CrossSide: Glad you like it. :) I build them when i unlock them by playing. By playing the natural growth way i have a constant exxess of funds.(I think in central Everglade i have about 5-10mill) So I try to act like it will cost alot. to help with the money to be more realistic I drasticly lower taxes, and once i plopped about 4 empire state buildings, then destroyed them, to lower the money level.
So the way I figure out when to build somthing is mostly by what year it is. It is currently 1991(same as CSGdesigns Boston because we are currently planning a rail link) so its not like when CSG's Boston was the same size my city is, and solar power wasnt invented yet. So Everglade isnt going to have as many dirty industrial areas like Boston. Most of the industry will be high-tech, since "enviormental issues" are being pushed more-so on newer cities, then on a huge metropolis which it would have more lenient laws.
(oh.... and its NATRUAL growth... not national ::) )
This is some really, really good stuff, marsh. The region shots are stunning. You've expanded the region: what are your plans for it?

Thank you for your good reply! Nice that you are going to link with CSGdesigns also, one of my favourite topics!
And the national was a typing error :D It was very early in the morning here ;)
Looks great, good to see a move to green energy!
nedalezz: Thanks! I dont realy have a plan. I just go with what feels right for that point in time, and with what the reigion needs.

The next railway stop on the way to CSGdesigns Boston is in the Small town of Harstel. Harstell alone is not large enough for a rail line, but
the line is going this direction, so a stop is going to be buit anyway.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg62.imageshack.us%2Fimg62%2F120%2Fimg0015qz.jpg&hash=87478371b16e63518c99629ab5f39073ee1a39bb)
The stop was going to be built on the edge of the town.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg687.imageshack.us%2Fimg687%2F6869%2Fimg0016t.jpg&hash=928c445d9277045d97ad3aa624c1804bcc7a850d)
Some of the nerby farm fields where leveled down to prepare for the station.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg37.imageshack.us%2Fimg37%2F1696%2Fimg0017wt.jpg&hash=57ae4da227387bec227842e8a0de760c30f0a88a)
After the station was built the main base grade for the rail was leveled even more to prepare for the tracks to be layed.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg41.imageshack.us%2Fimg41%2F6397%2Fimg0018qo.jpg&hash=a3060b87c0826331f208a2ba0340b54f34a23c32)
The track built was a single-track rail. It was cheaper and at the stations it would transform to a double track to allow for trains to stop and let
the trains pass each other.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg191.imageshack.us%2Fimg191%2F6185%2Fimg0019yf.jpg&hash=c2d95a82254134b803930977db279d27348b0f0f)
A bit further north the track had to be built around the river. The town is still pretty much connected to Harstel.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg62.imageshack.us%2Fimg62%2F5652%2Fimg0020vw.jpg&hash=e8489b79cd3e57b897d7a55ecc16970df675dc0c)

After it was built some homes and buisness set up around it. Mostly because the land value rocketed straight into the ground, so poor
people took up the opritunity. Now guests at the local diner can enjoy loud rummbuling the entire building shaking while they eat
their.... delicious meals.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg687.imageshack.us%2Fimg687%2F1772%2Fimg0022ti.jpg&hash=ddb862da694791dfca79c276d2d4084610282ab5)
Further north the already built line passes through another small town.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg687.imageshack.us%2Fimg687%2F2526%2Fimg0023we.jpg&hash=c1bd33bcee15473cb907dbc020ef919597741e36)
Even further up is Charleston (where the bridge starts in a preivious update. The rail travels over the city line. But as we all know it is impossible to veiw two countys at the same time!!.... TWO countys?!?..... perpostourous.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg41.imageshack.us%2Fimg41%2F1295%2Fimg0029lm.jpg&hash=608e776f2d1616903a93e648c349716e165896c9)

However, to the south of Harstel, the rail is still being constructed on the way to Boston.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg687.imageshack.us%2Fimg687%2F6802%2Fimg0025hl.jpg&hash=f1c1d0f9d590dafaffd15016c1b27dba37236a38)
Thats all for today!!
Untill next time!!
Well I say it's entirely possible to connect two counties. You just need a single color background and a little bit of Photoshop.
Yay for lower land values!
Nice update, a great work!!!
emgmod: I know, but i have no clue how to use photoshop :( If you know of any begginer tutorials
Tomas Neto: thanks man :)

A problem has arisen in Everglade a lack of city funds has caused a huge cut in funding for city clinics, schools, and other civic buildings.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg40.imageshack.us%2Fimg40%2F2350%2Fimg0032mr.jpg&hash=fbfb2ede0921c847957ed969da9f27c3cce03734)
The largest cut in funding was at the Broadveiw Medical Clinic. So much so that the workers there are on strike. This has occored in a poorer
area of the city, which dosnt help them much.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg651.imageshack.us%2Fimg651%2F9456%2Fimg0033v.jpg&hash=3fbc084121b4383910d13fe7ba0d8716b4a4a6f6)
Something has to be done. City Hall is currently brainstorming solutions for this. One of the ideas is to slow down (not completly shut down)
work on the numerouse Everglade railroad lines currently under construction. This will slow down growth of the city for sure, but it may be
necisary to prevent..... ummm..... people dying
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg191.imageshack.us%2Fimg191%2F5541%2Fimg0035ub.jpg&hash=a2da0c27dedc165a1596153fcd8233abe6deecee)
Recently at the courthouse, hundreds of citezens and news crews have been gathering to monitore a hored of lawsuits from "irresponsible"
operations. This is causing unrest in parts of the city. So far 116 people have died, who could have been saved if the clinics had the neccisary funding.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg651.imageshack.us%2Fimg651%2F146%2Fimg0036a.jpg&hash=51be1f2c020d40b2b203d999e43c066347075cfc)
Not just the medical field is suffering from funding cuts, the police force is also suffering from tax cuts.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg534.imageshack.us%2Fimg534%2F9581%2Fimg0037s.jpg&hash=466fcfb1aa2573e5c7151b0783fb814ce5681ec5)

(side note... this update earns the award for... Worst Update name EVA!!!!!!!!)
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg683.imageshack.us%2Fimg683%2F6407%2Fimg0047av.jpg&hash=4a5f11fcac84fdfe3f8d346ab085ad01324358c2)
Turbin road is a small street which collects the two very close towns of Secrest and Littleton. Traffic on the street has increased signifintlyover the past few weeks due to rapid development in Turlbin Bay. The street, therefore must be upgraded to a road to handel all of it.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg683.imageshack.us%2Fimg683%2F4927%2Fimg0027qk.jpg&hash=a5bdf49e37e39dde0409bba9f0f7cdaade23a907)
Due to the fact that this upgrade requiers no additional room, the road will only be paved over. How does this help? The road will be widened so the speed limit can be increased and also makes it so people driving on the road feel safe to drive faster, and the new pavement will last much longer.
The first area is the southern section of the street on the edge of Seacrest.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg638.imageshack.us%2Fimg638%2F8533%2Fimg0029f.jpg&hash=f43784d6c412937ffd28cfee923c69a235c6380d)
The street was repaved and a crappy little street light was built.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg705.imageshack.us%2Fimg705%2F7194%2Fimg0031uk.jpg&hash=746647467743f435446a60356cfa454122ce8fac)
A bit further up into the farmland, you can see the large volume of traveling on the street.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg683.imageshack.us%2Fimg683%2F4478%2Fimg0034yx.jpg&hash=6cbccdfc525b9cd11ebee0274933003b754359db)
So it was paved :)
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg705.imageshack.us%2Fimg705%2F6130%2Fimg0035ph.jpg&hash=122cd9da4f05483dbf9cf305470466eb8e22c448)
On the North End of the road near Littleton, you can also see the large traffic volume.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg638.imageshack.us%2Fimg638%2F2894%2Fimg0033br.jpg&hash=8d1ef81d80dd4af579d666e3c3afaa040aed138d)
So now the picture explains it all :P
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg690.imageshack.us%2Fimg690%2F7623%2Fimg0036k.jpg&hash=638c6057977f418396e52db6afbf4a5a3709d735)
The road is now complete....
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg683.imageshack.us%2Fimg683%2F1998%2Fimg0037om.jpg&hash=4b99eda2f016d5cfb87ad86928e4c5ccc218d880)
And now Turlbin Road is no longer congested.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg638.imageshack.us%2Fimg638%2F5189%2Fimg0038l.jpg&hash=00687fbd2912133e4c450396be50b7fadd2bab20)
Around the Secrest Area
Here is Turlbin Cove, Seacrest was built around it, and Turlbin Island is located right next to it.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg683.imageshack.us%2Fimg683%2F9918%2Fimg0039o.jpg&hash=4fc128ed11850e21e2b1f2f8407b4b736101cfbf)
Turlbin Island currently has a problem the local ferry terminal built there serves as transportation to the island, however, all the residents who actaly need it do not have enough money to.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg192.imageshack.us%2Fimg192%2F2739%2Fimg0040np.jpg&hash=1b63d076bd3e6b0ceb15953985ccf2e877099ac8)
This is leaving most of the residents on the island no access to jobs.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg705.imageshack.us%2Fimg705%2F8083%2Fimg0041pw.jpg&hash=f27c3c949263aab95446cbc6351ab03d371f05f5)
Here you can see Littleton.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg6.imageshack.us%2Fimg6%2F4045%2Fimg0045fd.jpg&hash=2e00bf3d99fc0509fc0e890e576e737b1c7aa68b)
And here is Seacrest.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg192.imageshack.us%2Fimg192%2F9954%2Fimg0028wwc.jpg&hash=53310b28e37984a5329bcfdfac60b115a2e480d1)
This is the Seacrest Ferry terminal. It is primarily used as transport to other small towns north of Seacrest, as well as rich folk from Everglade and Opium moving to a nicer and more rural area.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg683.imageshack.us%2Fimg683%2F2434%2Fimg0042tv.jpg&hash=afe39d37b3375c968033016fc0dc30d15dd56f32)
This is one reason. The cliffs around Seacrest are verry atractive, and experts say that in about a year this will be all wealthy residents.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg30.imageshack.us%2Fimg30%2F453%2Fimg0044zg.jpg&hash=7020a9952912bcca902ce4b16408af4e2c57f1ea)
Gertion Park was the first city-funded park in Seacrest. It was built in the middleish of the city at the time, and is still on a heavely travled road.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg683.imageshack.us%2Fimg683%2F1834%2Fimg0043ct.jpg&hash=825ed9502b65417c7e960c7901b258a890864e7e)
Here you see 4 of the 8 mansions in Seacrest. This area was farmland 1/2 a year ago, and nothing was there ecept the mansions. When the town grew around it, it wasnt desarible to the new immigrants, so most of the area was developed pretty poor.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg690.imageshack.us%2Fimg690%2F9929%2Fimg0046y.jpg&hash=7fd1e3a3ab8d4970874dd7f78e04ade036517a68)
Thats All For Today!!!
Untill Next Time!!!
How long did that road take to upgrade? Also, I believe one of the mansions you showed in the last pic is going to appear on CSGdesign's NG.
emgmod: It took a month to complete all the paving. The construction was done at night to prevent any traffic jams also. And yes, it was built by an immigrant from Boston who wanted to live in that house, but didnt want to wait that long for the canal estates to be completed. ;)
Awesome pics there I love the rural scenes, the region view also looks very realistic!!
Will
Wow, thats a huge update. Healthcare is one of the most important things there is, and with people dying, it really needs a quick solution.
I love the update about the street :)
