Does anyone know how to disable the dreaded Blue Resolution Nag Screen?

It appears to be a DOS window, and it's untouchable. Hitting the 1, 2, C or D keys doesn't help, nor does using the up and down arrow keys. It pops up about every 20 seconds, blocks the middle of the screen for 10 seconds and is extremely annoying. I even tried running a game for a while hoping something in there would finally get the message that I'll change the resolution when I'm ready to, thank you. After about half an hour, I gave up on that, too.
I've been plagued by this thing ever since I moved up to Vista then Win 7. I have a 1024MB nVidia GeForce GT220 card and the 197.13 driver. So far it seems to work best with SC4, but the nag screen appears whenever I try to do anything at a different resolution. I've tried out several older drivers tonight, too, but no luck. I've even asked nVidia Support, but haven't received an answer.
Any assistance or suggestions would be most appreciated! I'm already NUTs, and this is driving me crazy, &mmm so thanks in advance...

I think those numbers 1 and 2 refer to buttons (or menu items) on the monitor, not on the keyboard...
That message is part of the monitor, it is like the menu you can use to adjust brightness color etc. If you used another computer (say running a completely different OS) you would see the same message.
Tage, you're a genius, but I already knew that! You were absolutely right. It turned out the fourth button on my monitor. I pushed it twice and haven't seen the idiot screen since!
I can't thank you enough for helping me solve the mystery. I wouldn't have thought of fooling around with the monitor in a million years, but maybe that's because the idea makes perfect sense!. &mmm
I was just about ready to chuck the whole system, but now I'm a happy camper again. BTW, if you're a computer owner with a short fuse, never live in a house built on lakefront property. The temptation is almost overwhelming sometimes! :D
Later...

Thanks to you, too, Jonathen, for the quick and helpful response.
