Title: Putting my toes in custom buildings
Post by: Lowkee33 on April 18, 2010, 04:13:30 PM
Hi all,

I am looking into adding custom buildings to my SC4 game. as a first question.  would grow-able buildings be considered lots or bats?  Secondly, I can find a bunch of building available for download.  Is there a collection of buildings out there?  I feel like I may have to re-install sc4 in order to start my plugins folder from scratch.

Thats all, thanks

BATs refer to models, lots refer to the in-game property they're located on. In a similar usage, BATs refer to a an original model of a building released on a lot by the creator, and a lot refers to a in game property that includes models belonging to other people arranged in a unique way by the lot creator.

Growable and ploppable is just how it appears in the game; on its own in a RCI zone, or selected and manually placed from a menu.
