Title: Conflicting ID's ?
Post by: Myself.or.? on May 02, 2010, 08:05:49 AM
I've just stumbled upon a possible problem that may even have been resolved already in the past, but I only noticed it yesterday.  ()what()

I DL'd two lots from TSC and have one of their props popping up once in a while alongside (on top of) streets and other lots.  &mmm

I suspect that it has the same ID as some tree. The lots in question are:

Criox de Lorraine                              http://www.toutsimcities.com/downloads.php?view=634
Memorial _France Quebec _Plazza       http://www.toutsimcities.com/downloads.php?view=819

and the prop popping up is the Cross itself.  ???

Since I don't know how to check it I hope somebody will volunteer to have a look at it.

The problem with the Croix is that it's got the property Building/Prop Family set to 0xA0000028.
That is an ingame prop family with various street items, e.g. trash cans, news stands, planters, benches, garbage, etc.

To fix it, just remove the property Building/Prop Family from the SC4Desc file(s).

Please also PM the uploader and advise them of this error too as they'll need to fix the original.

Ok

I will check the upload in TSC but the uploaders Adrianou and villavicencio are no active years ago so we will do our best to correct the mistakes if we can  &Thk/(
