I know I've seen these numbers here somewhere, possibly in an article by Ripplejet. So before I count them all myself does anyone know where I can find this info, thanks.
<EDIT> "ever heard of a calculator?" ;) So I gather in the case of a large city tile it's 250 tiles across? But in the case of a small city the result is 62.5...?
<EDITEDIT> which of course means there's a central tile... don't worry, my brain's slowly catching up with my body. :D
(fwiw I am trying to make a measuring device to assist in the accurate laying out of my region. This should be deleted I guess, I tried but wasn't able to)

Quite possible... wherever that might be... ::)
Small city | 64 × 64 tiles | 1024×1024 m |
Medium city | 128 × 128 tiles | 2048×2048 m |
Large city | 256 × 256 tiles | 4096×4096 m |

ah, so it's slightly over metric. I'm glad I didn't erase this after all, thanks Ripplejet.
