I went to Norway not too long ago and discovered the phenomena of Stave Churches. These churches are really old (some dating back to 1100's) but they are all made out of wood.
Would make a perfect addition to people developing agricultural or natural settings or small villages.
Here are some examples (there are quite a few and every one is different to the other). I think that the Borgund Stavkirke is the prettiest.

Especially the detail in these churches (inside AND outside) is impressive. :thumbsup:
