Title: The Glass Tower
Post by: i_love_lamp on May 16, 2010, 05:17:16 PM
Well i was watching 'The Towering Inferno' the other day when I got a brainwave. What if i could take this:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi633.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fuu51%2Fironicepitome%2FImage0007.jpg&hash=b7f4c5c91da2cfbdce2abc92cef2dff3831564bb)
(building on the right)
... and put it in one of my cities, however i would like the building to be a more glass look instead of that ugly '70s gold glass crap

Let me give u some specs courtosy of Wikipedia:
About 1800 feet (550 meters)
138 stories
flammable

Wow, thats a pretty demanding way to ask someone to take time out of their day to do you a favour.  You'll catch more flies with honey mate.

Just for the record......I can't think of a single time where someone made someone else anything for SC4 when asked like this.
I have to agree with Diggis here.

Give ks_jpn's Eliot Tower a look.

It isn't an exact match but it might be a similarly styled building that evokes a modern feel.
