I figure I'd put these two requests together since it takes up less space and they literally reside next to each other.
The first is a cruise ship port a la Canada Place (Formerly the sole convention centre, it now acts as the 'east building'. It also shares its space with the Pan Pacific Hotel and the Vancouver World Trade Centre). Built for Expo 86, it is one of Canadas most iconic landmarks.

The second would be an actual convention centre

The new convention centre (or west buildings) was built in time for the 2010 Olympics and, in my opinion, is one of the nicest buildings in the city (Of course, I did spend over a year there doing millwork, so I am a bit biased ;D ). It sports a green roof.. because god forbid we create a carbon footprint these days! It also sports a wonderful little walkway around it where my son and I go and watch the seaplanes land.
Side note, the 2010 Olympic Flame was/is just to the West of this building (They still have the damn fence around the thing)
Any takers?
