I searched but came up empty. I could have sworn that I saw or read about an el rail-in-avenue network. Am I crazy? If not does anyone know if the NAM team has considered it? I'd really like to see it/use it in my cities. The el rail-over-road just isn't quite what I'm after.
There is GLR-in-Avenue, but El-Rail-in-Avenue hasn't been made yet. Maybe you saw a photoshopped image?
Oh, yeah, I'm very familiar with the GLR-in-Avenue. I may have completely invented it in my mind. :D At any rate it's something I would love to see in a future release.
I recall a thread a long time ago about the possibility of a monorail in ave mod. I don't think the idea when very far though.
Wouldn't the el-rail change the width of the avenue to something like the double left turn lane avenue pieces because the amount of room the support beams take? Otherwise in my mind I saw this concept have the support beams end up going down the dashed lines. The monorail on the other hand, I thought that only had one set of support beams underneath it, since its one, where as el would need to have 2 for stronger support.
I don't know if it's possible to move the supports of the el-rail, but if so, you could have them land on the edge of the sidewalk.
As for my previous post, it was mightygoose that was working on a monorail in ave, but as I said before, their hasn't been a post in thread in over a year.
I thought of creating some but I not good at modding. I would be happy if someone make them.
