Hi all,
sorry I didn't really know where exactly to post this, so feel free to move the topic.
Question is, is there an easy way to print those tutorials that are available around here? They are of invaluable help during gameplay (e.g. some of them provide an overview of the content of a "TAB-ring"), but it would come handy having a printout on your desktop instead of switching back and forth all the time. However, when copying a tutorial to a word processing software, you end up with a non-printable layout. E.g. Text is displayed in tables, won't fit on a normal page (it fit's on landscape layout, but OTOH that's kinda waste of space), ...
So all I would ask for is a possibility to print it as it is presented in the forum. However, so far I haven't managed doing so. Using the "print" function leads to loosing the pics unfortunately ...
Any help is appreciated!
You can copy from the "print" layout without getting tables and such - the formatting should be fine in a word processor, so you only have to add the pictures manually, which is probably easier than getting rid of all the tables when copying from the display layout.
Thanks Andreas,
I' m still hoping there's some lazy guys workaround for the "copy the pictures" part of your solution ... ;D ;D
I did not necessarily understand everything, but it is also possible to print the page with the printer PDF.
If you want a .doc, you can use then a free PDF / WORD exporter, it will keep the layout.
Ok, thanks, that's great. I was just using the "print topic" function, not the browser's print function. Printing via the browser keeps the layout.
