Title: Night Light Issue with Bat4Max and 3ds Max 2010
Post by: earwax_man on June 15, 2010, 01:52:08 PM
I have the latest version of BAT4MAX, and 3ds max 2010; but on this one building which I deleted the light rigs, reset light and cameras, everything possible; it won't render normally as night.

Seeing as though pictures say a thousand words...

I can send the archive to someone who wants to look at it to see if it's just my computer or the file.

I presume you are using Simfox's script?  Try posting the same thing here http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=37&threadid=112233&enterthread=y&STARTPAGE=7 which is his "official" help thread.

One question... Have you just pressed "delete light rigs" or have you removed the xref scene as well, and started from scratch?  Another thing to try is save, exit Max then restart, then merge just the model without LODs or helpers.  Then press one of the "night" buttons (Maxis or dark) and try a preview render.

Edit: Actually, the day render looks very blown...check there are no other lightrigs in the xref scene dialog, as there's definitely a shadow problem on the roof.  Either that or the light you're using for the night render is way way too intense.
