Hi, Could someone explain the differences between all the "rail" projects? There is the train that comes from Maxis as well as a monorail. Also from Maxis is the subway. There is a GLR. There is a HSR. And there is Rapid Transit or ElRail. Maybe there are others. I am not quite sure what the difference is between them all. What stations are also required for each? Thanks, Steve
HSR is using the monorail, and GLR is using the elevated rail - it's the same network, it just looks different. Subway is somewhat similar to el-rail/GLR, as it's using the same yellow route query arrows, but it's actually a different network. So together with the regular (heavy) rail (and freight rail) there are four different rail-based networks, and commuters can switch between those, if the stations are equipped with the proper transit switch properties. Some custom stations have transit switch properties for more than one rail-based network, so there's no definite answer to your last question.
Thanks for the fast reply. Steve
