Title: Custom content menu descriptions
Post by: elhefebonito on July 10, 2010, 11:57:39 AM
Hi everyone, I've been a lurker here for the better part of a year or so, and I have recently been encouraged in making a few SoCal sign models, with the help of the GHSDP model

I followed the basic LE tutorials I found and now have them as lots in my game, but when I mouseover them in the menu they use the old "Open Grass Area" description of the lot file I originally used.

If I can get this fixed, and the models cleaner, they may form the base of a Los Angeles-style sign pack.

The link below is a screenshot of working prototype signs.

Apologies if I missed this info in a simple FAQ, thanks for your help.

hello

In order to change the description, you can use ilive_reader. You have to open the lot's file and modify LTEXT. Don't forget to save in the LTEXT window and after the lot itself    ;)
