Hi All
I've not posted on the forum here before, I've not posted because, to date, I've never had a glitch that I couldn't sort out for myself by reading the information and retracing my steps! Thanks everyone for such good and well documented work.
However I do have a small problem for which I can't find a solution. NAM allows me to create tunnels when dragging streets, which is fantastic. However the tunnel entrances are always just black. They still work fine, carry the expected amount of traffic, but look awful. I end up bulldozing them and replacing with road tunnels which look fine.
I've just spent an hour researching here and else ware for a solution but I can find nothing. Am I the first person to experience this?
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
No, we are aware of this problem. The problem is, is that there is a missing model for that tunnel, with IDs unknown to us, so we can't solve the problem for now. I suggest you should use no street tunnels at all, road tunnels, the FLUP street tunnel or LOT-based street tunnels (which converts streets into subway and back with a nice looking lot.
Best,
Maarten
Thank you Maarten
I shall try as you suggest.
Regards.
Kevin.
Tunnels made by the street network carries traffic!?!
Then all we'd have to do is assign a model to it and boom... street tunnels. And its not too hard actually... except slope mods might pose a problem, as they use the same exemplar that controls the tunnel resource ID.
