Title: Reducing # of Occupants in a House
Post by: Rionescu on October 07, 2010, 04:50:37 AM
I haven't been able to find an answer, so I'll ask here: How would I reduce the number of residents in a house I downloaded? Right now it has a capacity of 94 so it grows everywhere and gives me an inflated population.

EDIT: Do I by any chance have to change the "Capacity Satisfied" property with iLive's Reader?

Thats the one.  You may have to remove them from your city before you make any changes.

Chances are that there are other strange stats (bulldoze cost comes to mind).  A good idea is to make the .desc/lot from scratch using PIMX (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?board=180.0).  This program uses something called a Filling Degree to make all of the many stats balanced.

Thank you, that worked perfectly!
