Recently, as in today, when I tried to access SC4D I got to enjoy this:

after some reading over at ST, I found out it was just a DNS renewal

We're still waiting for Jeroni to shed some light on what happened.
The obvious thing is that our domain expires yearly on October 15th.
Without Jeroni's confirmation, I can only guess that our renewal was late this year,
and that eNom (our domain name registrar) changed the IP address to a "landing area" (the site shown in dragonshardz' post above).
Over the next 24 hours the domain name servers (DNS) around the globe updated our domain to point to that landing area...
Once the renewal was fixed, it took another round of up to 24 hours for the name servers to revert to the original IP address. ;)
