How to turn the region?
You cant turn a region and keep any buildings, trees or any work you have done.
That being said, you can rotate the terrain.
1)Load your region in Terraformer and export it as a RGB PNG.
2)Open that png in MSpaint (or the like). And rotate it by the amount you want.
3)Open your new file in Terraformer. Keep in mind that you will have to change your Config.bmp to suit the region.
But region which I get is different
How so? Do you have pictures?
I will open a mountain region

After this i export a greyscale image

And create region with this picture
I get result:

That is actually a problem I don't understand. I have the same results with grayscale
Quote1)Load your region in Terraformer and export it as a RGB PNG.
ie I misunderstand you?
there is necessary button in terraformer?
What's the config size x-ten? I'll see what I can do to fix this problem for you. ;)
Never mind, I see the map is supposed to be 2561x2561. Do you remember what the highest and lowest elevations were and do you have the original grayscale outside the posted here in the forum?
When you click on "export as" there are three options for file type. SC4mapper, Greyscale, and RGB. You want the RGB.
@Blade2K: What is this problem?

I don't know, I've never had this problem before, which is why I'm asking for the original grayscale. I wanna find out and see for myself.
I may export only to SC4M and 16 bit .png

Did you download this map, or did you make it yourself? If you downloaded, care to give me a link?

Ok thanks. I thought this map looked familiar. I now think I know what happened when you rotated the grayscale.
All terraformer maps are 16-bit grayscale, when you rotated your jpg or png [using Paint I assume from the advice offered further up this page] and then saved it, it reverted back to 8-bit which can cause the elevations to change.
My suggestion would be to re-open the original file you downloaded, and rotate the map in Terraformer, then save as a sc4M file. When you open the the new sc4m file you just made, the map should be the way you want it. Then all you have to do is save it, then go into the game and start opening tiles.
how to rotate map in terraformer?
Press Ctrl+ left/right arrow key to rotate the map. ;)
That only rotates the view for me. Not the exported SC4 file.
I am very interested in this. I map I am about to play is a little short on the north side. This means that I can rotate and add some tiles ;D

Really? I'll have to look into that, though I remember doing that back when I first got TF installed all those years ago. I'll do a quick test and see, then be back to post my results...
You're right, it doesn't work. Ok, nix that idea. Guess I'll have to make a png image from the original map and rotate it with Photoshop for x-ten and send it to him via e-mail. I won't be able to do this until Saturday late afternoon or evening. So if x-ten can send me his e-mail address via a PM I'll get to him when I'm finished.
sorry but I want to rotate other map

If you post a download link I will provide an RGB that has been rotated. Not too sure why you can't export, but hopefully you can import.
You will loose those cities though
