Title: (Solved)shadow blob issue

hey people
i just started simcity to test out some rural pylons. and quickly noticed somethings diffrent:

i tryed changing the video settings but that didn't worked
restarting didn't worked either..
what could this be?
has my driver gotten obsolete?

I don't know what it is, but it happens to me too. It happens with every shadow: they all end up to something circular. It's quite annoying, and that's why I turned off the shadows...

i see. Well its better than these kind of shadows so that will do it for some while
but i hope there's some sort of solution to this

I notice you are at a high screen resolution.  Perhaps that is it?

It looks like the shadow texture is messed up.  Is that the side of a hill?

Does it happen with empty plugins? Does a re-install fix it?

its solved!
i didn't even noticed but for somereason at my visuals screen the rendering was set to software instead of hardware!
that solved the problem for me!

did you try that out maarten?

^^ I'm going to test my game on lower resolutions and see what happens. My current resolution is 1280x1024. See what happens at 1024x768...
