Title: Custom textures mixed up
Post by: Howling on May 05, 2007, 04:57:16 AM
Yes, another question :D

I've gotten myself a texture range use the SC4tool and made myself a couple of custom textures to use. A couple of overlay textures and a number of base textures - similar btw, to those of Jeronij's slope conforming walls - love those, though I crave new tastes - so I made some for personal use only.

Anyway, the problem is; I create a lot in the LotEditor, works all fine. Finish it up using Reader and LEprop (names, item order, etc) though when I plop it ingame all of a sudden my basetexture (no matter which one I choose) is not the one I chose but the first overlay(!) texture from my own texturepack. To illustrate, wether I use us 0xF3000015 or 0xF3000020 as base textures; it keeps using 0xF3000000, an overlay texture instead. I cannot find something funny in the lot or the texture .dat in Reader nor SC4Tool. All the ID's seem to check out... help?

Thanks!

You have fallen foul of the wealth trap ;D When making textures try to avoid using 0-3 in the 5th digit position as these are wealth reflecting. Change the fifth digit of your 0xF3000015 to 0xF3004015 and the same with the others you have made. That should solve your problem.
