Greetings....and a most happy New Year to all!
Recently in two mid-size cities, one around 35,000 and one at 52,000 a strange thing has occurred. Upon opening the city, the no-job icon appears over all residential areas, and population drops by about 10,000...and the commute time sky rockets. Upon further investigation, when I hover the Question icon over a Bus Stop, or any other Transit Station....the little icons in the window are shaded out, there is absolutely no usage and when I look into my Budget Panel under Transportation....all maintenace areas have zero dollars being spent.
Now, after about a year...the 'no-jobs' icons disappear, the population levels out and the rest of the indicators stay the same...until I start to bulldoze the Bus Stops and replace them with new ones. Then the usage starts to return, and monies are now being allocated to the Maintenance of the Roads and such. Population will start to rise, however on occassion the no job icons come back for a little while, and I have to start the rebuilding process all over again....
Any ideas as to what is happening?
Thanks:

Sounds like you are using the Left Hand Drive (LHD) from NAM while SimCity is playing RHD, or visa-verse.
....thanks for the reply, and I double checked, and I'm in RHD in regards to the NAM.
Now, what I did was in one city, Bellingham...I loaded up a back-up, in which the Transit System was performing properly. Today, upon opening the city, and about a year in....the No Jobs icon appeared in all of the Residential Zones....I immediately went to my Budget Expenses window and the Transportation area, and again no expenses were showing up, including Road Maintenance. I hovered the inquiry over the individual busstops, and again, they come up empty...new usage and citywide usage at 0%.
So, I began bulldozing bus-stops and replacing them....neighbourhood by neighbourhood....and my Expenses Windows began showing Expenses, and the Usage of the Bus-stops became normal. One difference today was that my population in the city did not drop...now that could have been because I started replacing the bus-stops immediately. Just one more thing, I did construct a monorail system, and its stations started to behave the same way as the busstops, until they were replaced....which would indicate that this event has nothing to do with RHD or LHD in regards to the NAM.
I'm wondering if I have a functional landmark or something else that may be triggering this?
....and again, so far this is only happening in two cities from two regions....all other cities in these regions are not suffering from this, (so far).
