I've been having problems with certain transit stations turning into "ghost" tiles. The lot appears correctly in the game, but it seems that it is not functioning.
The station that's been giving me trouble recently is the GLR-in-road station for RTMT. Here's what happens when I do Regular Query on it:
It sees the props, but it doesn't see the actual lot. Querying the ground texture returns "One Way Road".
Here's what happens when I try to bulldoze it:

And here's the route query:

I have confirmed that no non-pedestrian traffic is making it through this transit station whatsoever. Sims commute via car to the businesses on either side of the station, but they always come from the same side of the transit station. Some sims' commuting involves very long routes whose distance could be cut in half if sims were able to pass through this transit station.
Here's what happens when I try to plop a building on top of the transit station (in this example I'm using a small fire station):

The same thing happens when I try to re-plop the transit station. Another action that doesn't do anything is de-zoning.
EDIT: I did some more tests, and automata seem to drive through the transit station just fine. I was also able to drag a 2-tile-long One-Way Road through the middle of the transit station, but I wasn't able to drag the network outside of the station. None of the above symptoms changed after having built the one-way road. I even tried terraforming a small hill in an attempt to forcefully destroy the lot, and although all the nearby buildings were destroyed, the transit station's props remained concealed under the hill with the ground texture still covering the top of the hill.
Has anyone had a problem like this with "ghost" tiles? How can it be solved?

Hi
sffcCan you remember what other transit stations you had this problem?

Hi Catty,
Thanks for the response. I definitely remember that I have had ghost tiles in the past, but I can't remember exactly what buildings they were. I know it wasn't another RTMT station, for I haven't used any other RTMT stations.
It it means anything, I have three more of these GLR-in-road stations in my city. All of them have the same "ghost" characteristics as the one I pictured above, except that two are allowing GLR and road traffic to pass through. I never would have even noticed that they were "ghost" tiles that couldn't be bulldozed or queried or anything; in fact, the only reason I noticed the one I pictured above is because sims were taking ridiculously long routes to get to work and the GLR line, which should have thousands of sims commuting on it, was vacant.
Thanks again, and let me know if there's any other information I can provide.
Hi sffc
Sorry I was going to post a reply this morning, but RL took over, I have asked the other RTMT team members to call in and have a look at your problem, not sure what's causing the GLR stations to become immortal, its not something that has come up in the last six months of beta testing the new RTMT version, depending on their response, we may ask to have this problem shifted over to the RTMT support board.

The original RTMT Tram-in-Road stations, released in early 2008, were known to occasionally have this problem. A fixed version of these stations was released a couple of months later, and no occurrences of this problem have been reported since then. You can get the current, updated stations here (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1986). They can coexist in the same city as the older stations; just be sure to delete the older stations from your Plugins folder.
The easiest way to get rid of one of these immortal stations is to plop the exact same station on both sides of the immortal station, and the do a group delete on all three stations. Unfortunately, it will mean temporarily destroying some buildings, but it will always work.
Thanks for the replies! I had downloaded the RTMT T-RAM as soon as it was released, and I guess I never installed the update. I followed z's instructions for removing the old stations, and that worked, too. Traffic seems to now be flowing in my city as it should :)
I'll post back here if any problems arise with these new stations in the next few days.
