• Kusawa historically has been a terminal point of the sea from western Kyushu,
Korea and China and a river connection between the Yamato Province in the east (currently Prefecture

• In 1580 Toyotomi Hideyoshi used the place to build your own castle,
Yokusawa Castle, which Hideyoshi is considered the founder of the present Yokusawa.
The prosperity of the city increased during the Edo Era, during which Osaka
functioned as the economic center of Japan.

• During the Middle Ages, called Okusawa kusawa or (Yokawa) to the premodern period.
During the early Meiji Era, the government renamed the city as Yokusawa or (Yokawa)
name that survives today. Yokusawa continued its development but was gradually
passed as a center of economic and political power with the appointment of Tokyo as capital
of the nation, mainly from the XXI century.

# I N T R O D U C T I O N

• Hello and welcome to my new project in simcity 4. This is a Dutch region, more specifically inspired
in Amsterdam, It is based in the thirties. My idea is to show this city telling stories and experiences
of the citizens of Bolendan at that time.

• It is possible that some of the stories of the updates are inspired by real stories of the World War II.
This issue will be very present in this diary, Like many other Dutch cities Bolender also suffered the Nazi
horror. As I say we will see many things about the war, Jews, deportations and other occurred in those
terrible years, so I hope not to offend anyone with this, I'll try to do it with all possible respect.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg546.imageshack.us%2Fimg546%2F5084%2Fsssssssaaaaaa.jpg&hash=ec58385a5a45f53df74110d08c1ab3bcc15ee0ca)

# W E L C O M E  T O  B O L E N D A N

• Bolendan lives great moments, we're in the 30's and the city already has its own color, canals and
churches cover the city and give it that touch so beautiful and distinctive to this beautiful Dutch city.
The operas and theaters arrived from other parts of Europe live as perfectly normal here, painters and
musicians fill the streets of culture, people from other countries come to the city in search of work and
prosperity, in search of a better life.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg804.imageshack.us%2Fimg804%2F8131%2Fssssssssaaaa.jpg&hash=9382a1f0f7d1573df7b8973b00cfc1c3746a8060)

• This is the story of anyone, the poor and the rich, who comes and who goes, is the story of war
and peace, Some end well and others do not ... this is the story of a European city, the story of a
Dutch city, is the story of good and bad is the history of searching and finding, is the story of the
citizens of Bolenden.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg861.imageshack.us%2Fimg861%2F415%2Fhistoricalbolendan11.jpg&hash=ef3f3a6ff56bc8c46f45843e4c0f74723fec613b)

• Do you Want to know this city? some of its beautiful places? Want to walk the streets or driving
on their roads? You may prefer the tram, but the bicycle is not bad ...Do you Want to know stories
of a city? histories of Europe? Do you  Want to take a boat trip for their channels? Do you Want to see
the ships arriving from other continents ? Do you Want to feel this great city? Feel like one more?...Well,
grab your map and let's go, Welcome to Bolenden.

• Hirakata is a medium sized city in northeastern Yokusawa, with a population of
about 125 thousand inhabitants. Most of the inhabitants of this city use the train
every day to reach their jobs in the city center.

• In today's update I want to show one of the most important parts of this small
city, which is practically the center of social life in Hirakata, its railway station is
The main culprit, officially called "Hirakata JR Central Station" is used daily by
a very large number of people.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg16.imageshack.us%2Fimg16%2F3943%2F58089376.jpg&hash=413f8f910c520ea5f473d7ded53b51bf552b25a8)

• Built in the 60's, today it is barely visible in the urban landscape, several offices are
an raising in the last 10 years almost on the railway station and today is a large complex
of offices, shops and a rather busy day.

• Nara is one of the typical and old residential districts of Hirakata. Its very quiet,
and is far from the bustle of downtown, away from chaos.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg863.imageshack.us%2Fimg863%2F5926%2F83785477.jpg&hash=d67f7737954e656a4ca50c416d66855bd6541ff3)

• Life moves pretty quiet in Nara, many of its inhabitants for the day are not here,
so in working days is quite common to see old men fishing with their small boats on
the banks of river.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg576.imageshack.us%2Fimg576%2F7308%2F61682030.jpg&hash=a881e87248c83c64849e402b697f9391123df5db)

• It is very typical to see boats in the vicinity of Nara, as the small boat
red that crosses the river to reach the port of Yokusawa.

• Today we visit one of the most beautiful areas of Shikawa, as I told you
earlier Shikawa is almost a sacred place in  Yokusawa and Japan, a place
where peace and quiet living with spirituality.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg580.imageshack.us%2Fimg580%2F9574%2F2a2w.jpg&hash=4c0c761ca5d02b6115183a866502b0027c1df5f0)

• One of the places that concentrates all that is their Buddhist temple, the oldest
of Shikawa , built in 805. The temple and their houses Gassho-zukuri are the main
attraction of the city.

• Around the temple is the highest density of Shikawa, as you can see
there a variety of styles, some older than others but always respecting the
Japanese traditional architecture.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg835.imageshack.us%2Fimg835%2F7222%2F4a2u.jpg&hash=7260dab9daaabcc99b8e5bf7a3ce818b48edd0ae)

• In this picture you can see also the houses and the temple among other things,
such as the small channel that serves to channel the water to the river
of Shikawa and is also used to irrigate the rice fields that populate
all the people.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg189.imageshack.us%2Fimg189%2F6551%2F5a2b.jpg&hash=539cad423fd02057e1d638c4d6cc4ea6631eeaab)

• The majority of the population live directly from the cultivation of rice and flowers.

Today we are at Kanashima island again, and today we Know one of the most
modern buildings of Yokusawa, The building of the YEPCO Headquarters, located
in the center of Yokusawa.

• Hello everyone and welcome to YPC WORLD relaying through " Channel 9 ". I'm Monita Rajpal
and bring you the latest news on the small earthquake that today rocked Yokusawa Prefecture,
specifically the town of Toyuma.

# Next we will review the facts:

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg710.imageshack.us%2Fimg710%2F2726%2F1abaf.jpg&hash=1e2a955eb48c5e708185268658a18e7a0f68fb92)

• When was the 11:37 minutes in the morning a small earthquake could be felt
in Toyuma , The Japanese are accustomed to earthquakes but the residents of
Yokusawa do not suffer as frequently as in other parts of the country.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg30.imageshack.us%2Fimg30%2F653%2F53367711.jpg&hash=43d9afc716db2960ac3b5c67abefe4ea8e5df862)

• The earthquake not caused any damage, but created a sense of panic.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg7.imageshack.us%2Fimg7%2F9657%2F33797965.jpg&hash=ea4e037a0c474bc90a77cd674f15e52e9ba31d5f)

The Yokusawa seismological center it located by chance in Toyuma, has had a
very good opportunity to study closely an earthquake with epicenter in Yokusawa.
The information in this center is of great value to the future of the Prefecture.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg810.imageshack.us%2Fimg810%2F7413%2F12802474.jpg&hash=c108f25dd5c1ca8d6584435bc5c9eb33e5ba2988)

• The darkness of night covers all over the prefecture, Now is a normal night.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg607.imageshack.us%2Fimg607%2F3608%2F54531048.jpg&hash=fc861c6b9fa10eb2c6a104a50c22c296963c25fc)

• Here we can see that Toyuma ended the day quite normally, The events of  the 17th of May
are now, past events.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg573.imageshack.us%2Fimg573%2F9733%2F67995752.jpg&hash=03e1d72e449275045208fbf51e1efa4546590d65)

• Finally we leave you with a helicopter view of the Residential Soum towers,
located near the epicenter of the earthquake and no damage, as you can see
the day to started with a shock for all residents of Yokusawa and especially
Toyuma but finally today the earthquake is only a scare and valuable information
collected by the seismological center Toyuma.

# This has been all for today, thank you for trusting us and good night.

Important note: I do not want to offend anyone with this update, this is just a game,
I do not want to hurt anyone's feelings, just make a new and different update, Thank to all.

As always, it is a pleasure to look at your updates. The scenario of this one is  fearsome but realistic with the eartquake. What  is the office building on the 2nd and 3rd pciture and where did you get it?

 Another nice update.
Those bridges by xannepan might be too "classic", but I thought it would be worth trying even to just see if the style fits and to add a little something special to the bridge crossings.

• We arrived at the Bolenden central station, has been a long journey but we are finally here.
The situation in Germany was not very good, the war is near...bad times...we will be better in Holland...

of a friend, He will give us accommodation for a few days...He lives in the city center, near a canal...

• Today we will know one of the most important complex of Yokusawa
it is their Seismological center, as you can see is a large complex consisting of:

1 - Headquarters of the company "Yokusawa Seismographic"

2 - Yokusawa seismological center.

3 - Seismological research center.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg860.imageshack.us%2Fimg860%2F3052%2F24087708.jpg&hash=78fdab9d4ca66db513287f05a0a3b2996b1196b3)

• This is one of the most important places in Yokusawa. Studying earthquakes is very important in Japan,
and also in the prefecture of Yokusawa, All information collected is important for the future.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg718.imageshack.us%2Fimg718%2F5263%2F25022532.jpg&hash=3c0e36a497df61d99c60067af0eb0817478504b7)

• Built in 1996, a year after the great earthquake in Kobe. After the Kobe earthquake, the government
decided to build its own seismological center in Yokusawa.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg219.imageshack.us%2Fimg219%2F6060%2F25672056.jpg&hash=5051a4fe3747f1526c5436f77298d4356bb37887)

• The Seismological center is located in Toyuma, a residential district in Yokusawa. with the construction
of this complex Toyuma is improving with the passage of days.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg101.imageshack.us%2Fimg101%2F1504%2F78777188.jpg&hash=adf565b9eaade2fe43b24a57a0f80a8e7b38f160)

• The last construction was the headquarters tower. Today is one of the tallest buildings in the district of Toyuma.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg94.imageshack.us%2Fimg94%2F5643%2F72661727.jpg&hash=3f9375a84d9fc8b09ec63aa67a668499ce736593)

• Because nature is unpredictable, the resort is also in operation during overnight. Here you can see one more night,
collecting valuable information for Yokusawa.

Thanks

Again, this is amazing !
First pic is my favorite one. Real life pictures are also very nice, it seems to be a very nice place to live in !
I'll just mention the water texture of the temple in the last picture which is not that much realistic. Not a big deal...

Old Hitoshi is a very nice village. I like the style very historic.
Update 10 in the second picture I like very much, just as I imagine Japan. The city center at the train station is very, very fantastic built.

• Today I want to show two pictures of the Yokusawa Central Station, one of
the most most famous points of the city. People throng this station every night to get
back with their families to their homes.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg842.imageshack.us%2Fimg842%2F8400%2Fcsan1.jpg&hash=6eddf1d00ed81842e34a39dc54fd59a47e56c27c)

• Neon lights and offices lights, trains, people, cars, noise ... this is the central station at night.

# Sorry for this bad update, I lost a part of the region and I'm working on a new region,
I changed the map and some things...Coming soon you can see the new photos of region, Thanks !
