Well i'm new here, and i enjoy play the sim city 4 with all the transport's modds but i don't know what to do when in a avenue or elevated-ground highway are over transit and i put elevated train, subway, monorail and train; so why don't think in bus rapid transit that is a modern transport in the biggest cities, that are used in Brasil, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, etc for example. In Latinoamerica is called metrobus.
Could the NAM Team think in a project about it??
it would be wonderful to use by the latinoamerican's users in their latinoamerican's cities
Also i was seeing the trolleybus as a new transport in sim city but i dont know how to build transports in sim cty. In my opinion i get excited to contribute to create these transports to sim city 4

Bus rapid transit (BRT) systems have been discussed with some regularity, but unfortunately, there are some technical limitations with the game that have prevented us from really accurately being able to represent them.
The game's transit network pathing system, in the form of the SC4PATH files, does not differentiate between road vehicles. The game treats Cars, Buses, and Freight Trucks as if they are effectively the same type of vehicle in that regard--all operate under path type 1. Any "bus lane" would end up getting Cars and Freight Trucks on it. We are unable to add new path types or re-assign existing transport types to different path types. We've also yet to perfect a suitable workaround that would in any way approximate it.
Transit-Enabled Lots do operate on a slightly different paradigm than actual transport network items, and several "blocker" lots that prevent certain types of road-based transport from passing through have been produced, including some that are "Bus Only". I believe there is a set or two on the STEX at Simtropolis--I don't have a link, unfortunately. You can sort of get by with representing bus systems this way, though there are limitations.

One way could be to imitate the CAN-AM with roads; El-Rail based, with the paths hidden underground and station lots that spawn special buses.
