art128 - That isn't a the glass window, It's a poster with real people images ;D Thanks amigo.
How then, my bad. it looked like a glass from this angle! :D Anyway the other faces are looking excellent, Jonathan! But, yet again about the glasses $%Grinno$% they're a bit repetitive!
Nice BAT, I can see that modelling is great. But because there's a but (alsmot no BAT is perfect :P ):
As Arthur said, I find your glasses a bit too repetitive. Maybe should you follow this (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=7014.msg368840#new) tutorial, made by Jon. It's great and explains really good how to make nice doors and windows. After that, you can of course change the textures of the windows, and using Maxis' ones. You can find it in Computer\ProgramFiles\Gmax\Gamepacks\BAT\Textures\Glass or in Computer\ProgramFiles\Gmax\Gamepacks\BAT\Maps\Night Windows you'l also find glasses textures. It's very usefull and add realism.
Then, I find the roof also a bit repetitive. For that, you should do a texture which goes perfectly with the box (or the polygon you did). For that, you take a screen of the polygon you want to texture, then you open the screen in Photoshop for example and you modify the texture to make it fit perfectly. Gascooker made a nice tutorial (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=5230.0) about texturing and adding realism on textures. I always follow it to make my own ones.
Hope it helps,
Guillaume
amazing model skills you show here! goodjob man! :)
I agree with the roof-texture-comment...
It's 6 times the same darker spot, the lower building is even worse: I've counted 15 stripes. Use Photoshop (or some other program) to create an image that fits into the entire roof. A roof is also never empty: you should add some vents, airco, chimney's etc... We never see the roof from our perspective but it's the largest part of a building that can be seen in SC4. It adds some realism too.
But besides that: fantastic work, it's a typical, modern BNL-building. We need more of these BAT's!
Keep up the good work!
Hi Kelis,
I love your ABN(-AMRO) Building, but have to agree with Alex_bervoets. The roof is empty and missing something.
Also love your "Dutch" Canal. Any idea if you will release it?

Wow Kelis, amazing BAT!!! I agree with Arthur about the glasses...

I am happy to return to Holland friends :) Greetings from Spain
Hi Kelis,
Welcome in the Netherlands. Are you going to check if my lots are realistic?
Maybe you could send your relotting of Amsterdam Central Station to the Dutch Railways and the Amsterdam City Council? I think they could use ideas for real-life relotting of the space around the building.
I am curious what buildings you are going to take pictures from and what you are going to BAT.
But I'll be patient!
Hi FrankU
I don't need to check anything, Your lots are very realistic
$%Grinno$% How many years need amsterdam to finish the works around the Central Station ?
The last time that I was in Amsterdam the Works still like the last time, Maybe this week I can
see some advances...but Yes, Maybe I can help the Amsterdam council with mi SC4 ideas $%Grinno$%
Well I will be at Assen, Groningen and Rotterdam, I'm not sure about Amsterdam...but I want to do
some building of Rotterdam and Groningen and I want to do an Old building from Holland, I love that
old buildings in the center of the Holland cities...for example:
Jozefkerk, located in Assen http://static.panoramio.com/photos/original/3144398.jpg
Stadhuis Van Leeuwarden http://www.flickr.com/photos/mokingbird/6106695155/in/photostream
The last picture is mine, As you can see I love these buildings ;D
Greetings my friend ;)
PD: In What part of Holland do you live ?
Ah, yes, I see. You like classicism.
That's why you like Berlin? One of the finest classicist architects was indeed Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
The space around the Amsterdam Central Station is a big mess at the time. And I admit that I don't know how long it's going to take befor the dust has settled and what the looks will be. I just wait....
Have fun and good BATting!
Work on the Amsterdam Central Station will be within 1 to 2 years complete. We're talking about the biggest mess, this is then done:
- The structural work on the subway;
- New bus station on the back of the station is in full use;
- New road tunnel under the bus station is open to traffic;
- Square for the station can be refurbished.
It's a mess at Amsterdam Central Station but it is a mega project for the city. The subway will be opened at 2017.
I was there about 1,5 years ago and it wasn't that bad actually.
That said, over here (Gent) it's currently not much better: the whole station and the area around it are seeing some major redevelopement. It's basically one big construction site over here. Projected date for it to be all done is 2018-ish. For those who are interested, more info can be found here (http://www.projectgentsintpieters.be) (only in Dutch though).
Xander
The same here in Rotterdam.
The old station is been demolished and a new station building is been build. Should be ready in 2012/2013. Also the Subway station is been rebuild and linked with the line to Den Haag.
Getron.
aah you mean the light rail connection :)!
i travel every week from home to my campus @ school.
the trainstation is a mess! lots of construction material etc!
not long ago a really big crane was in operation to move the new ceiling!
pretty impressive!
Hi TeamMates, I'm Back here again, I'm sad to leave Holland :( !
Well after a few wonderful days in my dear Holland I'm here in Spain again, I have many new images and finally, I visited Rotterdam with a good climate, well just a bit ;D I have to say I am very sad to return to Spain. It's possible that I take a few days to do something new Because the studies are a bit Hard in the beginning and I want to do the better of I can. Thanks for your comments my friends, Now we go to the replies

FrankU -Well, that it is just one of the reasons :) and yes I know the great Friedrich Schinkel !
One week ago I was in Amsterdam and everything still like the other year but anyway the central is a
very stunning bulding.
Paul 999 - WOW, Great information Paul, really thanks ! But..2017 ? That's incredible, I can't wait to see the station and around completed.
WC_EEND - Hi Xander. Thank for your comment. I don't Know Gent but the other day I was in Brussels and I saw it all a bit sloppy and dirty, the crisis is affecting a lot to Belgium? Greetings my friend !
Getron - Yes I know that ! The last wednesday I was there and that was insane, many people and little space to enter but Doesn't matter, the high Rises of the surroundings are amazing and I was all time looking up $%Grinno$% Finally I've got some good photos of Rotterdam but once again the rain was stronger than me ;D Greetings !

Well, After a few weeks, Today I've installed again the 3dsmax [ I had some problems with the computer ].
Today I've worked once again on the ABN AMRO Bank located in Assen, as you can see I worked on the
roof and I added some details and textures. The model it is almost done, Just need a bit work on the roof...

ready for the Simcity.
# I want to publish my Benelux's models here in SC4D but I need someone that can do the lotting and modding
We have someone on the team that can do it?

I loved it. Just with a need, the ABN AMRO bank :D. But serious, again a great model . And a great Journal picture. Even with little (looks like) Amsterdammertjes :D.
Great work Kelis &apls.
Getron.
It's very nice! That will be a great addition.
Maybe a little dirt on the walls? They are a bit empty in my opinion, if you know what I mean.
Kelis: 'Buzzit - Hi Buzzit. Where is your campus ? Thanks for your comment my friend'
My campus is at Harderwijk :)
im following my coarse at the soma college or better said the 'infrapark'
they train people to become mechanics and operators for the infrastructure(so you will operate all kinds of big machines like diggers bulldozers shovels all that kind of stuff)
lol maybe awesome to recreate sometimes :D
Hi Kelis,
You did a good job. Now that I see the project between the Amsterdam buildings I see:
1. The bank seems to be a bit too small or at least too low.
2. The textures are a bit too clean, and the glass is not so realistic.
I think the ground floor is OK, but the upper floors are not high enough, at least when these are to be three floors...
I agree with FrankU for textures too clean and the glass not really realistic &mmm. But it's a good BAT, I love the roof and the details on it
you textures are too clean and too saturated.
For the glass, check the possibilities of environmental maps and high reflexive glass. ;)
I agree with the others above...
the red walls look fake compared with the other buildings and it's too repetitive. Use photoshop (or other) to make some changes. See my forum (Matt has some great advice on making a texture more realistic, should be easy to use on this bat with it's straight walls)
Place your windows more inside the walls (look at real office buildings), now they seem to be glued on.
Maybe this can help? This building (Inbev headquarters in Leuven) has about the same wall-texture... see how the windows are placed inside the walls:

If you need some help... just let me know ;)
woow kelis, really cool your project, i love it
I do agree with the previous comments about the glass, and the low high of the floor. Compared to the hall they seems to be quite small, or it is the hall that is 6meters high. Also about the glass I think it would be best to make as Girafe said. But on an other hand I like the roof junk.
Quote from: kelis on November 07, 2011, 11:24:16 AM
Orange_o_ - Thanks for your comment Orange. Yeah, in the next bat I will try to make glass for the windows. Thanks for the advice and for the comment.
Well, I look forward to your next Bat :D, do not hesitate to ask me for advice, or our friend the giraffe
Hi friends, yes since a long time ago, I come back here $%Grinno$% !!
Well, the first, I want to say thanks for all those advices and coments, I have to say that I did some changes in the model; some new textures, re-scale the model, test some windows texture, etc...Ok, the windows texture is the same, I promise you, I was trying to make a better windows but I can't :( !! I want to end this bat because I have some another models on my mind so Yes I know, it is no perfect but it's just the first model for the Benelux Team and I have illusion to finish it :)
This is the final result, as you can see I changed the brick texture, I put some dark parts in the texture and remove a bit of saturation, another change was the scale, now I think it's the correct, it is more tall, finally I created the Night model [ It's a Dark night non Maxis Night, but if someone need the maxis night I can make that version ], well, I hope you like it my friends.
# Sorry for the windows, I promise you, in the next bat I will try to better that
|| HELP || I want to upload my models here in SC4D because this is the home of the team, but i don't know how work the Pim [ I'm not sure if this is the correct name of the tool ] so if someone can help me I would be very grateful :)
# Jonathan
I like the building. It's interesting from all angles. The roof also looks good. It looks very clean, but it a very modern and new building, so I guess that's ok.
Open the sc4 plugin manager. The model should appear at the top of the file tree, under 'models'. If it isn't there, check if it is in the correct plugins folder. Drag the new model to the co or cs section, somewhere with the yellow dots in front of it. It will now generate the exemplar file. Having done this, sc4 will know it's a building. I can't really help you with all the settings for the commercial building. After this, you can lot it into some lot. I've seen you are good with the LE, so you will know what to do. I hope this helps, but if you meant something else, let me know.
Hi my friends !!
Today I have something new but it is not from Holland, some people know that I love Holland but I have got another love and it's Japan, since today I'm working on a new bat, it is the Tsutenkaku tower located in Osaka [ My favorite city in Japan ] This tower has a long story, if you want to read more about it check out the next link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ts%C5%ABtenkaku
The model is almost done but I have a small problem, I have to do some billboards with a Japanese characters and my 3ds max 8 does not recognize these characters, Is there a way ? the model also need texturing and do the model night.

PD: Hi teammates, when I finish this model I want to do something from Holland, some advices ?
# Jonathan.
OK, good luck with the model ;)
Eh, those kanjis will be hard to do, that's for sure.. Uhm I have an idea. Use the text tool, choose a font that can use the Japanese characters (copy-paste), and then extrude it. it's the best way I know. it worked in 3dsmax 2009 with Cyrillic.
I've tried to do that and this is the result:
http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/8823/sinttulo1kar.jpg
As you can see my 3ds max does not recognize the characters  Well I think I have to do one by one :'(
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg85.imageshack.us%2Fimg85%2F4775%2Ftsutenkakutowerbykelis.jpg&hash=fe117e973c0418cf08f23d1f20b56d635b3de842)
The model is done, just need the Japanese characters !
You can also put the Japanese words on a plane like a picture. Then you make a spline and draw them over. Extrude it and you're done.
-Ernst
Hi Peter, How can I do that ? is there any tutorial ? I think it would be a good way to do the Japanese caracters, Thanks my friend

Hi Peter, How can I do that ? is there any tutorial ? I think it would be a good way to do the Japanese caracters, Thanks my friend
Well, you make a texture with the words, just like if it was a pub you wanted to use, then you use the line tool, and extrude. ( i'm sure there is another way than the line tool, one more professional..) I think it's what Peter means.
Thanks for the advices my friends !! I think that it could be good. What do you think ?
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg845.imageshack.us%2Fimg845%2F4799%2F1234wd.jpg&hash=a86deb7b6ca575e32f35798695def2f9a7db137d)
Well, that will definitely works!
What color scheme are you going to use for the signs?
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c8/Tsutenkaku-Night.jpg (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c8/Tsutenkaku-Night.jpg)

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f8/Tsutenkaku2.jpg (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f8/Tsutenkaku2.jpg)
I think it's spectecular.
Maybe if it isn't to much work you can make profiles for the metal.
If you need smoother edges on your letters you can also change the vertexes to smooth or bezier.
You can do that with right click in the line tool
@art128. Well I meant the line tool. You were just right ;)
-Ernst
Arthur Definitely I will use the green color and the white letters !! Maybe I can do some differents models but the first it will be the green version !!
Peter Thank once again for the advices ! I think in this moment the letters looks good but you may be sure, I will use your advices in the future, Thank my friend :)

You're really progressing fast.
Regarding the letters.
You can also draw a spline (with the line tool) and then make it renderable.(In the rendering tab)
You can give it a thickness and make it radial or rectangular.

Oh, first time i´m looking in here, and: wow, this looks really spectacular! &apls

What do you think ? It is ready for export ?

carlfatal - Thanks my friend !! But the Eiffel tower is one of the best monuments in this world, right ? :)
art128 - Gracias amigo ;D
MrMAvE94 - Glad you like it my friend !
supremec - Yes well, that picture looks a bit real with with that sky :) Thanks !

Looks great &apls I love the night lights! Probably ready for export
Excellent!
Might add some details in the floors, otherwise, it's ready for export!
Looks great... specially at night.
If I had to comment on something, it would be the texture of the bottom part. The gradient looks too smooth and it doesn't look right on the horizontal bar. Otherwise, exellent model!
Is is not meant as a criticism to your work, because it is great, but there is one thing that appears to me when I see these kinds of towers.
They all are the children and grandchildren of Eiffel's Eiffeltower. And they are all way uglier than the original.
Sorry if this spoils your party....

That's because you don't live with the Eiffel Tower everyday, trust me. I live in Paris and God that Eiffel tower is awful. $%Grinno$%
That's what they said in 1889 when it was erected. But now.... It's really a beauty!
So this discussion shows once again: taste can differ.
Well, after all, you don't have to download everything that appears on the LEX and STEX, right? ;)
Kelis, fantastic work with that tower. I might not use it either since I don't build Asian cities but it really looks excellently made.

Nice textures &apls
For imperfections, I think everything has been said
Your BATs are as great as your pics
Hoi :)
Well, my Teammates are doing a fantastic job with some models from The Netherlands and I have to do the same, so now it's my turn, recently I started a new model, It is the Wilhelminatoren in Rotterdam, as you can see it is a fantastic building with a modern architecture, so let's see what happen with it !!
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg580.imageshack.us%2Fimg580%2F2019%2Frttdmkls.jpg&hash=c23b5472bd3b437e6cfff0f6ad5675a0afdcaf12)

An exciting project! I always love modern buildings that seem to be able to transition well with older architecture. I'll be following your work here closely
# Thank You Noah !! Yes, I have got the same opinion about this type of building :)
Some progress...

Interesting project. Looks nice so far.
Glad to see something from you again, Jonathan. :) It's close to the Euromast and it's in Rotterdam. ()stsfd() I am sure it will look good when it's finished.

Getron - Hoi Getron :) Well, accidentally I lost the file of the ABN AMRO bank in Assen, but I think I have some version of this model exported, it is not the best version but if you want I can send you the model, okay ? Thanks !!

Yes I drove past that Assen building 1.5 weeks ago, I thought to myself; 'He, I've seen that building before somewhere..?' Hihi.
Hi Kelis,
You could sent it, but I don't know my way around with B.A.T. Tried it some years ago, but didn't got far. I'm better with lot editor, but seems you lost I useable file. And that is sad :'(
But since I'm at the moment between work projects, maybe try it again with B.A.T. :)

It's a great looking start &apls What's the other side going to be like?

Something more...
I'm from Antwerp, so I'm not allowed to like Rotterdam. However, if you (and others) continue to make this kind of buildings, I'll have to resign to liking it after all.
I wonder, are you making this with 3dsMax or gmax, or what?

Hello mates,
Sorry, I was a bit busy with the RL these last two weeks and I couldn't work with the model, today I've started texturing and well, it is more difficult than I remembered, so please be patient with me !!

What do you think in this moment ? what do you think about the Bricks texture ? and the texture of the other facade? should I continue to apply that texture?
Greetings and I hope somebody can give me some criticism and advice.
# Jonathan
I?ll be very honest, I don't like the textures I see. the bricks (I assume are the brown in the round shape of the building) are to much repetitive and monotonous. plus, the colour is always the same, all over the the façade. Also, they appear to be in a square pattern, is that what is meant to be?
About the yellowish texture at the button, I think the same thing applies.
the textures as they are now are a bit dead, meaningless. you need to introduce a gradient to them, dark button, light top, add some variation, like bricks of slightly different colours, some grime, water leaking and so on, and I would also, specially for the yellow one, sharp the texture a bit more, as it is a bit blurred now.
Your model is wonderfully made, so it would be great to have some textures up to the match :)
Hello Mates:
Making some progress with textures, I find it very difficult to get a good result in this building !
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg541.imageshack.us%2Fimg541%2F9376%2Flu0p.jpg&hash=fce39a773187edd0ffa406914a211c1b9d7f5332)

Looks great, Jonathan! I think you did a good job so far on the textures!
Looks very good Jonathan. Very good.

# Groeten
What about the nightlights?
And don't forget to make LODs that fit the building tightly, it's better for loting. :)
Very nice progress! &apls
There is still a bit to work on for this BAT, like transparent windows for the rounded part and the sides. And also, I feel that the fin is a bit too saturated, but otherwise the building is looking fantastic
Thanks for sharing the Osaka BAT! :)
Great work!
But I think the red part on the top need some more work, is too much uniform.
Hello my friends !!
art128 - Here you got the nightlights, I hope you like it :)
sunv123 - Hi Sun, I tried to work in the advice that you told me, but I didn't like the result with the fin with less saturation... anyway I used a real red color into a sun day, I took the color from a real picture of the building. Thank for your comment and advice mate.

You could enter the picture competition with this fantastic picture, Jonathan... ::) ::) (I would vote for you each round, awesome picture.) &apls &apls
Looks great already, Jonathan. And a great improvement. I like it.
Maybe, just to make it even more perfect: use a little less repetetive decal for the lit windows, maybe. And randomise a couple of lit windows. It would make it look interesting for longer, I think.
Hello again.

art128 - HAHA, Okay my friend, I will try with this picture the next time ;)

Okay I got this little baby on my hands and I'm not sure what I have to do with it because we have a little problem, there is no lights and I lost the 3ds model, so what can I do ? exist another way ? make props or something like that ?
# Jonathan
You can either release it like that, without nightlights, or you can make the model all over again. It's not a very big model so in one day it can be done.
wow, I love this small skyscraper, especially regarding the shape and colors. &apls
I can't help you with the nighlight, but the model is also nice.
Wonderful work on both towers Jonathan! &apls
I really like that small tower, I'll take it as a prop :D
Wow - the Wihelminatoren is finished. I just saw it yesterday. Anxiously awaiting its upload. Looks great. Regarding the smaller bank?, not sure if its a bank, you can release as is, one of those take it as is bats. It looks awesome - I won't mind cause I rarely, never actually, use night time.
Great job! &apls
Hi Jonathan,
Good BATs! The Wilhelminatower is very good. The Bank is good enough even without nightlights. It will fit perfectly next to Haarlemmergolds BATs: they don't have nightlights either. So you are in good company.
But... is the bank not too small? The image shows me a streetlight, a bench and the pavement texture..... But maybe with another surroundig it is OK. I hope.
Just one question: are you going to use the BNL Queries? Please do! (even if it was just for me....)
Hi Kelis,
It's been silent on this forum, but not in real life.
I have worked on the model and lot you sent me. I send you a complete set back with two lots: CO$$ growable and CO$$ landmark. The lot has been changed, because it was too small for the final building. I hope you like it.

Real life, Frank? What's that?

Looks great the building, although I think the brick texture may be desaturated a bit and the black lines (of mortar) could be thiner

Hmm, might I suggest a type of compromise fix: you could add some street-lights to the lot as types of guard lights for night-time, while leaving the building itself unlighted. Where I live this is not an uncommon thing, to have the 'yard' lit but leave the interior lights off at night.
This is an absolutely stunning building! :D
Hi guys,
Another BNL cooperation!
Kelis did some remodelling on the bank BAT. Now it has nightlights. But also some other small changes have been made.
I did the lotting in the style of my Dutch Rewards lots, although this time I used seasonal trees.
And, of course, I used Wouters Dutch Prop Pack.
The shape of the building surely was meant to let the urban space flow freely throught the building, like a faint reminiscence to Le Corbusiers free use of space and double land use principles.
In reality you will see that the actual bank in Assen hardly uses that space. I put garbage containers and rubbish there, because usually this is what happens to this kind of architectural optimism.....
Also the bank gave some space to the city council to locatie three glass recycling containers, because they have to stand somewhere, don't they?
Please comment!

Hello guys:
Yeah, that's it !! The ABN AMRO Bank is completely done. I could never imagine that such a small and simple BAT would be so difficult to finish it... Well as you guys can see our Friend Frank is working with Lotting and Modding and I think he is doing an excellent job, I like so much Frank, looks very Dutch !!
Yes, I think we need a plop version of this
For my part, today I did the personal lot for my city, as FrankU I also inspired in the real surroundings of this building, in my case I create the bus station located near of the building.

I hope you like it, coming soon available on the LEX :)

Looks good.
Very nice lots . And a proper building with nightlights and everything! Your perseverance paid off.
I like what you've done with the lot and the building, it isn't a typical square that you find
I love the lotting! :D
Great work guys :)
Lovely little house, Jonathan
Will you bring us some big ones in the future?
&apls &apls So awesome Jonathan. Excelente..me encanta! I love.
Hi Jonathan,
OK, so which one are we going to put on the LEX? Your lot is very fine!
A different style than mine, and definitiely worth wile!
Or shall we make a contest? We both put our lots on the LEX and see which one is downloaded more often?
^ I second the contest idea.
whoho, it's a 'Lot-off'!
$%Grinno$%
Seriously, make it one dl with both. Kelis' as a plop/landmark and Franks as growables. An idea?
Half of the passengers waiting under the shed need to walk around the bus to board it. You should turn those buses 180 degree :P

Yes indeed! But that is up to Kelis. I do not have a drivers license for buses. ;D
Nice kelis!really nice bus terminal
So Jonathan and I decided not to do a contest. Sorry for those who looked forward to it...
I made two lots: a 3x5 and a 5x3, both in two versions: a growable stage 4 CO$$ and a ploppable with CO$$ jobs.
I added Wouters Dutch props and Murimks bicycles.
And I used CP's seasonal trees, which I usuallt don't, but because Jonathan likes them so much I did it for him.
What else can I say? The images tell you what you need to know.
The front

Don't bother about the Maxis parks in between, these are just fillers, not part of the lots.
Please give us your reviews on the results.
Frank and Jonathan
Excellent job Frank !! I think this little Dutch Bank is ready now !! You did a great job with this new lot, I like more this lot than the old one, the props and textures are perfect and now even it has the bikes, so I think the work with the LOT is totally done ,my friend, thank you so much !!

P.S: I have no idea about the next project, any suggestion ?

Congrats on the upload, Jonathan!
Thanks for the bank, Jonathan and Frank!
Hehe, rhymes
Hi art128 and sunv123,
Thanks for the compliments. They are really appreciated.
And now, Jonathan, you asked for another project.
Well here I go. What do you think of this?
This is the Inntel Hotel in Zaandam, about 15 km north of Amsterdam.
This hotel is a kind of stack of traditional houses from the Zaanstreek, the area of the river Zaan with villages like Zaandam, Koog aan de Zaan, Zaandijk, Assendelft, Oostzaan etc.
Is it fun or what? I thougt to use this for another version of the Resort Hotel Reward: the City Hotel Reward. You feel like BATting it? Not easy, I guess...

If you do a search on Inntel Zaandam in Google you will certainly find a lot of other images.
So many...bright colors.
It is most certainly one of the most unique buildings I have ever seen.
Thanks for the nice comments my friends !!
Frank about that building... mmm I'm not totally sure if I'm able to do it, my skills modeling buildings are not the best, specially texturing... and I think the most important part of that building are the textures, anyway I will try to give it an opportunity, let's see what happens...
BTW I got a new proyect started, finally I will make and try to finish my prop pack inspired by the canals of Amsterdam, I have to create some houseboats and some canal barges, I will try to show you some pictures as soon as possible...

YES!! %BUd%
Ah... yes, nice!
But this image is not a recent one! This winter we hardly had days with temperatures under 00C. It really was a warm winter.
Wow. I really like the pic of the canal - I've never thought of the canals during winter. That's an eye opener. :D
