Title: akashi kaikyo bridge not showing correctly
Post by: GMT on June 03, 2007, 05:55:24 AM
I've downloaded the new version for the new NAM, but it's not showing correctly.
it shows only the road, but no pylons and no cables are showing.
I had the same problem with this bridge bevore the new NAM, so I hoped it's solved now.
but no, it's not.
I actually don't know why, because I did everything the readme told me to do.
here's a screenshot, the upper is tsing ma bridge (or how it's spelled) the lower the "wrong" akashi kaikyo:

I don't think that is a wide enough span to show the bridge  properly. I had to use almost from one side to another of a large tile to see the pylons and cables.

Yeah, that thing is huge. I guess I should add that to the readme file. ;)

EDIT: @jeronij: Maybe you can have a look at the exemplar file? At the moment, the Min Span property is set to 0x24, but compared to your Tsing Ma bridge, some properties are missing - although I don't know if that's the problem.

ohhh, thanks a lot!!  &apls

tried it on a big city tile with water for like 95% of the width and it finally showed up as it should.
At first, I was a little concerned, but now I know where to use it   &idea
