Hello people!
After a while without playing SC4 (about 6 months, completely desperate about both prop pox and dissapearing props problems...) I'm playing again.. (like all adictions, comes back... ;D)
And comes back with an old problem I had. When placing elevated rail underpasses (I mean, the normal train elevated rails to being passed under by another rail), specifically the diagonal one, the trains suddenly go down on the ground rail when they are supposed to continue in the elevated one, look at the photo:

or that one... (trying with another method, underground rail...)

As you can see (see the blue arrows, freight trains) trains cross from one rail to another, leaving a rail useless and bugging my thorough planning of the railway in the city...
Any suggestion?
Lot of thanks people!
I believe that's an unfixable side effect of using the glorious Network Addon Mod. Overpasses and underpasses are treated like intersections by SC4's inner mechanics, and there is no way to avoid traffic from doing this on any networks.
I think if you place traffic controller lots (such as these (http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/16187-rail-traffic-controllers/))on the lines where you don't want freight traffic, it should keep them segregated, I think, by preventing freight traffic from using that line.
I've only noticed that issue when placing overpasses and underpasses over/under diagonal ground rails. Look at the inmediatly upper place of the crossing blue arrow at the first photo, right at the ground part of the "rail over diagonal rail overpass" piece.
This piece always shows additional rails (one at each side of the ground diagonal rail which it is overpassing), maybe that's the reason? (Hope I've explained well enough, I'm from Spain, my english as good as I can)
I'll try rail controller Joelyboy911, thanks.
More contributions to solve or suggestions about how to avoid... are welcome!
I think roads were programmed to avoid this so traffic didn't indiscriminately jump off the highways for no reason. It wasn't programmed for non-car paths because in the vanilla unmodded game only car paths could cross each other diagonally without intersecting (highways)
Maybe, sounds logic, certainly...
So this proves to be an impediment to the proper planning of the routes of freight trains and passenger ones by independent rails, in certain cases like mine where I have few and limited available space to maneuver and there are few alternatives to an diagonal intersection/over/underpass...
it is not the same, in aesthetic terms, but a solution may be to apply a direct ground rail crossing instead of overpasses or underpasses, and limit access to the tracks of a particular type of train with that controller joelyboy911 mentioned.
More comments? More solutions?
Thanks!
