I want to find the group of Japanese houses near the bottom of this picture. It seems like the thin roads are part of it, but just to make sure, where can I find those too?

Yes, why not. But I don't use those models so I can't help. However, there are a couple of mayor diaries with a Far East flavor. I think you may have do some MD reading, find the homes in use somewhere, and ask in those threads. MD makers are generally very helpful.
