Title: Issue and CTD with CSX Palace of Justice
Post by: M4346 on February 28, 2013, 12:07:28 PM
This brilliant BAT and LOT by Colyn has always been one of my all-time favourites.

I recently wanted to see it in-game again and tried to get it by using "you don't deserve it" and the buildingplop cheat, as it is a reward.

However, the lot does not appear in the rewards or police menu, as it used to.

I found it curious, and downloaded and reinstalled it again, to no avail.

As a last resort I opened it in the LOT Editor, with an instant CTD.

Thus, it appears that this reward LOT is corrupted.

Does anyone else experience this from the download (linkie! (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=197))?

I really hope the LOT can be salvaged  ;D

I downloaded and installed this lot. I then opened it in LE with no problems so it must be something you have or haven't got in your set-up Marius. I haven't yet checked it in game and won't be able to until tomorrow now but the file looked fine in Reader.

Okay, knowing now that it is only on my side, and feeling stupid for not clearing out everything else before I posted here, I can report that it was a case of something I did have...

I had an extra corrupted dat packed copy of it in my "Landmarks and General Rewards.dat" and not in the "Civic.dat" as I assumed (I removed the latter in troubleshooting and problem identification, and not the former). The fresh installed lot file also loaded before the dat packed file, explaining the corruption.

Thanks Barby! I appreciate the feedback!

Problem solved and case closed! ;D

Glad you got it sorted, Marius.
