I really need some help with regards to using the 7.5m Road Viaducts, especially with regards to the draggable system.
I'm actually more used to the puzzle piece system (seeing as it used to be the only way to go) especially with regards to creating overpasses & interchanges with roads & avenues. It took a while, but I finally got used to building interchanges using puzzle pieces along with getting used to the older 15m (now referred to as L2) Road viaducts system.
And now here's where I'm having some difficulty... Going about things using the older puzzle piece system is a no go seeing as there doesn't seem to be any 7.5m road viaducts RHW interface pieces. I am also aware that the draggable road viaducts system natively has support for crossing the RHW but my next problem is, I can't seem to find a way to incorporate the draggable part with the puzzle piece based pieces. Say for example I want to make a basic diamond interchange. With the older 15m road viaducts all the pieces I'd need are all there... 15m puzzle pieces that cross the RHW and an on slope puzzle piece that can connect to an MIS for entrance & exit. But with the new 7.5m network there are on slope puzzle pieces but no pieces that cross the RHW, and I don't know to combine these available puzzle pieces with the draggable stuff to make crossing.
I do hope that made sense as it's already 12 Midnight here and I am admittedly getting tired already.
The draggable system doesn't need puzzle pieces to cross an RHW--it'd defeat the purpose if it did. You simply drag right over top of the RHW, and in the case of the MIS intersecting a viaduct at-grade for an on/offramp, you just drag the MIS through the viaduct, and the intersection is created (just like at ground-level). My demo of the QuickChange system (http://youtu.be/aGd4b4YD_84?t=2m36s) for NAM 32 actually shows this in action.
It's still in an early state, so there might be some compact adjacency stability situations that don't behave all that well, but in the long run, it's worth it. Between the Road, OWR, and Avenue systems at both L1 and L2, the draggable approach is ultimately going to save us from having to make close to 1000 viaduct-over-RHW puzzle pieces (consider that there's 33 RHW networks at present, and when diagonals become involved, the asymmetrical RHWs actually need at least two separate puzzle pieces in a viaduct sitation).

Thanks for the reply Tarkus
I was finally able to make this simple Diamond interchange:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi304.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fnn179%2FCahos_Rahne_Veloza%2FInterchange.png&hash=6462d7b9a681ad5415442d7dd43cb69ef5439328) (http://s304.photobucket.com/user/Cahos_Rahne_Veloza/media/Interchange.png.html)
But it wasn't as easy as using puzzle pieces because the game would freeze a lot (thanks to the RHW & Avenue viaducts having some trouble working together? ??? sorry I forgot the actual term you folk use to it when these things render together). With puzzle pieces this would only take a minute or two (if you know exactly where each piece is located) but with the viaduct & RHW not playing along nicely, it took longer ::)

You're welcome. :)

I think the term you're thinking of is "adjacency"--a situation like the AVE Viaduct x MIS intersection next to AVE Viaduct-over-RHW-10S. After 10 years of puzzle pieces, the FLEX and draggable stuff probably doesn't have that comfortable air of familiarity yet, but it'll be like an old friend before long--especially when it has more adjacency stability in place.

For me, I love the draggable viaducts. They're the best new feature of NAM 32! If you could just make it so that they can cross diagonal networks, that would be awesome. :D
I used the puzzle pieces for viaducts before I was aware of the draggable viaducts. I didn't know that they really existed till I saw Maarten use them in one of his NORO videos. I think you should make it so that it is first in the roads menu before all the other viaduct puzzle pieces. Or, just make it so that you can do pretty much the same stuff as w/ the puzzle pieces and then you can remove all those other icons from the menu. :)

That's ultimately the plan, or at least, close to the plan. An approach I've proposed is to relegate the old puzzle piece forms of things that have gotten FLEX/draggable treatment to separate install options, left unchecked by default, and clearly marked as "old" and/or "deprecated".

Thanks for the heads up then
But I guess I'll just stick with the 15m puzzle pieces for now until everything gets ironed out at least... maybe around NAM 33 I hope.
Same with RRW, I like the concept & look of it but because it's still a work in progress I opted not to use it for now.
