Title: I want to know what LOT this is
Post by: Mikey Knox on March 23, 2015, 04:24:59 PM
Hi

I decided that its time again to clean up my Plugins Folder because its too full, but i am running into a Problem. I have a few LOT's with the Name "Open Grass Area" which serves no purpose, but i just cant find them in my Plugins Folder (they are not Maxis defaults). My Question is, how can i find these Lots, is there a ingame command where it displays the LOT ID (this would really help), or anything else?

Thx

You'll be able to retrieve the lot ID via detailed query. Hold ctrl+alt+shift while you query a lot, this will generate a query.txt file in C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4. If you open this look for the 'configuration: name of lot_ID'. For easier viewing of this file you could use this neat little tool Cogeo made (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=8870.msg440462#msg440462).

Note query.txt is updated each time you query a lot, however you can open and read it while the game is running.

Hm yeah, you probably need to identify the lots in the Reader as the reported number in the query.txt is the Instance ID.
