Title: 3D Models
Post by: Simmer2 on December 05, 2015, 08:29:05 AM
Hi all.
One wonders if there is any way to import a model made with Hexagon in to Gmax/Bat.
These models are in .OBJ format.
I have tons of them made in that format already.

Thank you.

If you can convert them to .3DS models maybe, that's about all the SC4BAT can import from.

There is some script that allow you to import obj files into gmax. Try do some search for gmax obj.
One program that imports and exports obj and 3ds files is MilkShape3d. (http://www.milkshape3d.com/). Its not free, but cheap.

Thank you Vester.
Apparently so does http://www.wings3d.com/?page_id=22 and it's free :)
I will be checking this out, if it works, it will open a whole new universe of possibilities for SC4!

Cheers

Sim.
