Interesting MD, the scenery reminds me on oriental cites like Casablanca, Marrakech or Kairo on the one hand, and the first pic looks like it has been taken in a central european city. Looks maybe a bit unusual, but i like it.  :)  :thumbsup:

Very "foreign" looking city -- intriguing and a bit mysterious. I'll enjoy watching this one develop. Could we see a region map per chance and a few zoom outs?

Fantastic first update, I love the use of colour in the pics, really sets it off.

There's some really fine work you're doing here, TSC.  Beautiful use of colors to lend further credence to your desert theme, and your choice of buildings, as has already been remarked upon, is superb.  A few more updates should lock in a large following for this really fine MD.
