Some shots for your pleasure from the largest canyon in Europe - Grand Canyon du Verdon (Gorges du Verdon). It is 21 km long and up to 700 m deep. It's wide at the river level is from 200 m to only 6 m in the narrowest place.
There are two very scenic roads on both sides of it. I was there a few times, here I present some shots from this beautiful place.
An entrance to the canyon. You can see layers of sedimentary rocks

The weather was not good to make photos, but I hope you will like it.
The next great place not far from Gorges du Verdon is Lac de Serre Poncon - a beautiful lake. You can see on it's side very characteristic rock formations - les Demoiselles coiffees (rock stacks with a stone on the top). My favourite place at this lake is a small, but extremely interesting shop with crystals - not only from this area, but from every continent (also nuggets and opals from Australia, crystals shining in darkness and many more).
Looks amazing ... thanks for sharing.
