I see from some of the great city journals that the GLR is able to cross an avenue piece on a diagnal and your able to place diagnal sections thru avenue pieces. Am I missing something to be able to do this?Is there a tutorial out there that shows how this is done?
um download the june 07 NAM and its plugins and please please oh dear god please read the readme when u install it. good luck!
@Filasimo: That is not very helpful
Samoyed,
You need the June 2007 NAM and specify the draggable GLR when going through the install process. When you are on the screen for selecting the NAM options, click on the "+" signs to see what features are available for installation.
Once installed, there should be a button for draggable GLR in the Misc. Transit Menu. Place the puzzle piece that is provided after clicking that button. Then drag the Elevated Rail tool off the end that was displaying arrows and you should see GLR tracks after letting go of the mouse after dragging the tracks for a distance.
The draggable GLR allows for curves, switches, and various crossings with the game's roadways which include crossings that you are asking about.
If it is the GLR in the middle of an avenue you are talking about, you will need to specify the "GLR in Avenue" option in the NAM. This will provide you with a set of puzzle pieces that have GLR tracks in the median. These are not draggable due to how they are designed and defined in the RUL files.

Thanks for the reply. I went back last night and tried the new draggable glr pieces and found what I was looking for. I did read the readme , guess I missed that section some where about how to drag them on an angle thru certain sections of road. Each day it is something new to try now with the newest Nam. Like a child in a candy store I now have to wear a Drool pib when playing the game ()testing()
Hello, it has been brought to my attention that supposedly a "texture overlay" exists for the GLR pieces which changes their colour from the bright white/grey to a "brownish" one. But I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Does anybody here have a clue? The textures are reportedly made by some German member(s) of SFBT team. Thanks!
I'm not aware of any brownish GLR textures that have been made by the SFBT.
