Welcome to my first Visual Tour Of Steven's Point. I named my City after me Of course. I would like to show you some photos of my growing city which currently is at 4400+ population now, it will double in population cause I

Let me know if there's any mistakes I made with upload photos from my City Of Steven's Point. I'll have more to come

Hey, Starman! I tried to clean up the code for your pictures a bit. All you need to do is use, when you got to Photobucket, just click on the code beneath each picture that starts with "[IMG]" and it will automatically be copied. Then just come over to here to your MD and paste it in. If you need anything else, feel free to send me a PM.

Title: Steven's Point Reaches 16K
Here's More Updates on my city. Today, I would like to Announce that my city of Steven's Point has surpassed
the 16,000 mark in population. My goal is to wait until Steven's Point reaches 25,000 sims this week. When it does
I start my 2nd City either this week or next. The name of that city as I said, will be "Maxiston". Everytime my cities
reach every 25,000 in population I'll begin a new city. And I'll share their progress as long as I dont make a mistake along the way $%Grinno$%. Here's more photos of Steven's Point at this stage of the game.

Let me know how you like my city from all the photos I've upload this week. These Latest photos I've uploaded to show you are the "Gamedate: November 01, 2008. I began building my city of Steven's Point 8 game years ago :D. Now it's grown into a metro city. I just recently recieved as a reward the Mariana and built a subway system for the city. Traffic was and is becoming a big problem right :D. I'm really looking forward to the NWM that will be coming soon. I'll have more photos for when my city hit or passes 100k ok.

Thanks bat, Mayoring a city with 50,000 sims is not easy. I'll be adding another city to assist with Steven's Point. but right now I need to fix repair some roads and add a light house or 2 in areas around Steven's Point. As I said in that previous post, traffic is becoming a major problem. I've added the Subway system and Bus Station to attack the problem. Soon, I'll have reorganize the residental zone and commerical zone. So I can make my roads
and avenues wider. I have some tricks up my sleeve, but eventurally I will be needing the network widening modd
(NWM) and Street Add Modd(SAM) when they become available:D. I hoping that; that that will solve my traffic problem. I'll have more photos later tonight. I plan to play this game until I reach 100k. But somewhres between 50k and 100k I'll begin work on my 2nd City (Maxiston).

Steven's Point is growing nicely now, my friend! I think adding another city to the region will help with even more growth, too. I'll be looking forward to following along and seeing how you do!
Thanks, I had to rebuild Steven's Point cause of Traffix, so it's much less now.... But to be honest the traffix problem is a major headache right now. Now I can upgrade some Avenue to Highways, but I also dont want to
destroy my beautiful Subway System. That also has been completely rebuilt from scatch. All the Subway System
now is under all my avenues. With Subway Station at each intersection. Next project with Steven's Point is to
rebuild my Landfill and Water area along with the Airport I have. I might have to remove my Village in which I call Farmington. And put it on the next to the city lol. I wonder though how many of you Mayors had to rebuild your city from scratch without using Oblirate City Option. I still have most of my rewards after doing that. My emgerency systems are in the center of each District Now. I just hope I dont have to eventually start over again lol.

That is my completely rebuilt city of Steven's Point. You'll see new monorail system there going from the Golf Course to the casino area. A nice way for my sims of Steven's Point to enjoy their vacation. Only problem I'm dealing with now its traffix :D. I'm sure that some of you mayors with Large Cities are experiencing that problem too.

Some thought though to take better pictures do you have your graphics set to high and rendering on software not hardware.. that would make it so you could see the homes and what nots... thanks, I didnt close it down yet. I'm working on some plans with my subway system. I've also added a few new routes to the subway system. Sometime tonight or tomorrow I'll have more photos of Steven's Point. Just to give you a sneak preview of what will be in my latest photos are 3 new rewards which I recieved today while mayoring Steven's Point. Here are those rewards I just got. I'll give u the new ones first then old one ok.

I place the Baseball Stadium on what I call Fantasy Island Of Steven's Point. Because I have my golf course there and Casino. The New Stadium will give my sims more things to do on Fantasy Island. I also have a new railroad system going from Steven's Point to Fantasy Island. My population for Steven's Point has now surpassed 85,000 residents. Steven's Point is now 22 years old lol. I think it wont be long before I achieve the ultimate reward is the spaceport. Then I'll begin my new city again lol called Maxiston. 1 question though, when I begin a 2nd city in Sim City 4, what are the objectives besides the obvious? I'll stop typing now to listen for some advice ok.

Howdie Mayors, I'm back with new images of Steven's Point. I had to restart Steven's Point because of mistakes on my part. As you can see, I have the residental area on the botton, commerical in the middle and industrial on the top of these images. Currenlty I have 4496 in population and growing. Traffic is starting to become a problem. Hopefully, I can solve them later in the game. You can expect more images of Steven's Point from here on out ok along with some new details and things to see.

the last few are nice, but i cannot see the others, what has happened with them? have you deleted them?
I think I messed up with the codes somehow. I do that from time to time. I dont know how too fix it however ()what(). I'll be working with Steven's Point soon; perhaps another 2 hrs of Steven's Point. My goal is to get it back to 10K in Population. Before I start Medium Density Zoning. That's when I most likely need to upgrade my main roads of Steven's Point to Avenues. I shall have in my next update (2) main avenues along with short ones.
I'm just waiting for thoses new modds that the people here been working on. I'm speaking of the New Widening Modd and TLA Modds. Those 2 Modds alone should (I Hope :D), solve my traffix problems $%Grinno$%. As I said in one of my post here. Makes me wonder where these sims get their Driver's License From? A Crackerjack Box?

Has u can see from the photos, I have a rapidly growing City. Soon it'll be time to create a 2nd city for my sims to travel too. My only ? is what type of city should my 2nd City Be? Steven's Point is Low Residental and Commerical and Medium Industrial ok. Just need some advice on what type of City Should I have that would compliment Steven's Point?

Howdie Again Mayors, I have more photos of Steven's Point. Now we have a population of 25K+. Also we have 2 new additions to Steven's Point. Major League Baseball Of Sim Nation has expanded to Steven's Point. Now the fans of Steven's Point Red Sox can root for their favorite team and listen to them on the Radio will will be added sometime today. I do have the funds to do so, but to find a place for the Radio Station is a question in itself. I
may well just place it next to the University. Or in between the University and Stadium since they are nearby.
I also have a new minor league stadium that was not photograph yesterday. Finally, I've added a new Large

Thanks Pat, Earlier today. I had to rebuild the Commerical and Industrial Sections Of Steven's Point. The Traffix project had become Atrocius. I also added a Highway to combact that problem. I was in the process of adding
a subway system when the game crashed on LOL. Have to do that again. I'm closing in On 30k now for population. The city itself just gave me the Deluxe Police Station and The Fire Plane. And I also added a Radio Station too the city. I plan to do more missions tomorrow. BTW, I'll be glad with the NWM and the other projects become available. I then can widen all my roads & avenues and yes even streets Of Steven's Point. Just Hope that will solve my traffix problems LOL. I'll have more photos of Steven's Point Soon ok. :)

I just got back from outdoors shoveling the porch with 13" inches of new fresh snow here in NH LOL. I'll have the new updates sometime this weekend knock on wood lol.

sorry for long delay of getting Steven's Point back-up. So without further due. Here's is a visual tour of my city with a population over 28,000 sim. I've created the ocean and small lake you see on this photo. I had to raise taxes to 9.o+ for residental and 9.5 and 10s for commerical and industrial districts. Cause I was seeing mansions again in low residental. May have to raise taxes again if I continue to see mansion in low residental districts. I currently have High Rise set at 17.0 may bring that upto 20.0 if I need lol.

As you can see, the population is currently set just over 27,000. when I took the photo of Steven's Point. It tipped over 28,000. I making money right now so. I may just has well give my sim a tax break of .2% drop in taxes. If continues. has you can see, my monthly income is 2-1 ratio meaning I'm earning close to $40k mostly thanks to the coastal casaino which earns me $25k monthly. I decided it was a good idea to put a
police station neabry it. The Casiano is just off the photo here at the lower left where the small beach is. I also plan on adding a highway once I hit
the $1 million mark. With Steven's Point over 25k in sims. I've been pondering on adding a new city for Steven's Point. I'll see how well I do with that one. And I see I have some work to do $%Grinno$%. Forgot to connect to 2 avenues I just added :D. Even we good mayors make booboos :D $%Grinno$%.

Since my post, I had to make major realignments of the Residental. So I could add the Highway you see there. I may have to do that again by putting the Low Residental near the edge of the screen. And make sure I have everything connected LOL. I'll also try and add another Highway to my growing city has well. The first highway I have goes from East To West crossing the channel I just made with the new God Mode tool in Mayor Mode. that made it much easier to add some spice to my city. my next Highway will go south to north. With More avenues. I cant wait for all the
new modds for highways to come out. They will bring a whole new demisions to my city. I'll be able to have 6-10 lane avenues. I'm also aware that
there could be more accidents with wider avenues LOL. I sometimes ask myself where do these sims get their driver's license from? A crackerjack
box :D $%Grinno$%. Of Course, it doesnt help when u have 41,000 sims in the city too. Yesterday, I went over 41K. I'll wait until I reach 50k to
build my next city. Which could well be a new region itself Maxiston. I'll post that in my orginal city maxiston thread ok. :)

Thanks bat, your city is looking great too. I finally get this city up and growing. I'm getting set to begin my second city. Any Suggestions on how I should build my 2nd City? Also, as soon as I upgrade my final Low Residental to Medium. I'll begin my next city. I hope to have all 4 Residental Sections loooking like NY City LOL. It'll look like NY City when I finally add the statue of liberity. By then I should have 100,000k in Steven's Point.
I'll be coming back later tonight or tomorrow with more photos Of Steven's Point. I've realigned All my roads this and did some remolding of Steven's Point. I'll look to see it the progress of my realignment project today. As I said before I cant wait to use all the new modds for roads to come out.
I can fix all the congested roads with wider avenues LOL. Until then, I'll have to wait like the other mayors do. So chat with you later about my City. :)

Pat, that's what I'm waiting for now for Steven's Point. I'm waiting for the new nams,TLA etc... to come out. When they do I'll upgrade every avenue and every road. I a new city also to showoff in this thread. Because this new city will be Steven's Point's neighbor. I'll reveal the name of the new city in Steven's Point Region in this thread ok.
Here's the latest photo of Steven's Point. Steven's Point Region has grown by 2 Cities now. Here's the list of those cities in Steven's Point Region and Steven's Point it's capital is included.
The Cities Of Steven's Point Regions includes the following:
Steven's Point: 40,000k (had to realign everything so I can added a cloverleaf interchange highway in the middle of Steven's Point)
Caldorre........: 5,000 strong lol.
Caldorre is my most recent city build. How I got the name of Caldorre is this. The name Caldorre comes from a space game I use to play Called
Sentinel Worlds I. I wonder if there's anyone here that remembers Senitel Worlds I. Where you had to findout the source of the raids on cargos.
The 3 Systems in Sentinel Worlds I were; Caldorre, Ceyjavik and Norjeann. I plan on using these as cities for Steven's Point. So when I'm finally
completed with Steven's Point, Steven's Point will have grown to 5 Cities. If I do things right the first time :D $%Grinno$%. So here's the photo

I think you have started something here which could turn out to be pretty good.
But......I have a few suggestions. Please go back and fix your other pictures as they are no longer showing up.
Also remember to change your pics to Jpeg as png take long to load for some people. This will turn some peope off your MD and they will not make replies and even stop coming.
Last thing, turn off that info. bar, it is very distracting to your pictures.

rooker1, I've just recently created a slideshow at photobucket, Yep I have two places to upload photos now LOL. Photobuck and Imageshack. My question is this, how do I get the slideshow to work correctly on a forum like this? I know how to put photos and stuff like that on here. But I'm
trying to figure out how to get a slideshow on this site in this forum(MD). I'll take your advice when I return to the city ok and thanks for your suggestion. :)
Howdie Mayors, I'm back with more photos of Steven's Point Region. I now have added a 2nd city to Steven's Point Region. The newest city to Steven's Point Region is Fairbanks. Fairbanks is where all the Medium Wealth folks Live and work at. I have a few images of Fairbanks. Thanks with
the help of Landscape Designer, I've created a new terrain for Steven's Point Region. And did some minor adjustment with the canals that were already ready there. I widen those channels to allow ship and cargos to go through. I'm in the process of adding another Seaport for Fairbanks
that way Fairbank and Steven's Point will have Seaports. With the newest Seaport at Fairbanks it'll give me a total of (3) Seaports, I have 2 at Steven's Point and 1 at Fairbanks. I also plan on upgrading at Fairbanks, Low Residental to Medium Residental. I now have (2) cities growing in
Steven's Point Region. My 2 cities are these as follows: :)
#1] - Steven's Point = (Capital)
#2] - Fairbanks = (Largest City)

Welcome to the city of Steven's Point. Steven's Point was named after me of course. its Population just went over
the 5,000 mark. Steven's Point is almost the same has Fairbanks the only difference is, This citiy is for Low Wealth
Residental, Commerical and Medium Industrial. I do have a small recreation area here for Steven's Point. So if the
folks at Fairbanks want to go to the beach. They can travel to Steven's Point until they get a beach of their own.
I have also added a diagonal ground highway that stretches from the residental to industrial district. Hoping that this
will improve commute time for these sims to get to work on time.

Welcome to the City of Fairbanks. Fairbanks is a city with roughly over 6,000 sims in population. at the bottom of the screen is where
the People of Fairbanks lives. I'll soon be adding some recreation for the sims here at fairbank all work and no play equals no fun for
these sims :D. Further north of the Residental is the commerical district. And to the north and west of the commericial district is the workplace.
This is where Fairbanks does all its shopping and yes even going out on a date :D $%Grinno$%. But watchout for some of these sims they drive like maniacs LOL.
Fairbanks was created to give Steven's Point some company as neighbors and some extra income for Steven's Point with Fairbanks trash.
Almost forgot. Fairbanks was name after our city planner Neil Fairbanks.

Howdie again mayors, I did even more realignments of Steven's Point today. I'll have new photos to show you later tonight. I'm returning to Steven's Point to continue my realignment plan which includes extending the main Highway of Steven's Point. With that highway extension plan,
I'll have it go around Steven's Point and add some more avenues also. It also means that some businesses will have to go LOL. I already rebuild
the commerical district. So the old commerical district of Steven's Point will be demolished. Then I'll do the same with the Industrial District Realign
that area in order to extend my new highway through Steven's Point. Then when the realignment and extenstion plan is completed. I'll extend the
new highway into Fairbanks thus connecting the 2 cities by Highway. Once I'm making megabucks for Steven's Point; I'll add a airport to the city.
That should bring more business to Steven's Point. Then I'll save the city of Steven's Point and work with Fairbanks for a while. :)

Welcome back Mayors, Here is part 2 of 2 of our tour of Steven's Point. What we have here is our Main Recreation area for Our people. After a long hard day of work. It's always good to get out and relax for a week or two. I have here is the country club,Cruise Port,Resort Hotel,Coastal Casino,Casino,Radio Station,TV Station all on the upper left corner of the screen. Howdie again Mayors Of Sim Nation. Mayor Whitehouse has returned with new photos of Steven's Point. Here is the new improved Steven's Point. I have realigned everything in Steven's Point. Now it's population has exploded from 6,000 to just over 24,000+ sims which makes Steven's Point by far as the LARGEST CITY in Steven's Point. There's no chance of me starting completely from scratch again! Has you can see, I have acquired some new rewards since my last update. Those rewards are the marina,cruise port,resort hotel,tv studio,radio station,country club,university,soccer field. I'm slowly upgrading steven's point Low wealth to Med. Wealth Residental. I decided it was best to go that route. On the western edge of the screen is the newly upgraded Low Wealth Residental(LWR for Short) to Medium Wealth Residental(MWR For Short). I'm now make at least 20k+ Monthly. I'll be constantly checking data chart for crime level. Almost certain I may have to add a prison for Steve's Point. I also have a good spot for that prison. As you can see on the map. I have a little island on the southwestern edge of the screen. I'm considering on putting the prison there. Here are the latest updates of Steven's Point Region. Earlier today, I've added my newest city called Dansfield. Dansfield is south of Fairbanks. I named the city after my brother of course whos name is Daniel. Also, The city has just over 9.5k in population. Which makes Dansfield the smallest city of Steven's Point Region. Here is the currently list of 3 cities in Steven's Point Region by population count.

The city of Steven's will become the home for all my very high wealth people. I'm expecting a population of well over 100k for the city alone. Fairbanks will be home to the medium wealth residental. Here's the latest news of Steven's Point. Steven's Point has fallen to the become the second Largest City of Steven's Point. With over 24.5k in population. city funds are just abit higher then Fairbanks and Lower then Dansfield. Lastnight and today I've added the university to Steven's Point. And later today I plan on upgrading the middle sector of Steven's Point from Low to Medium Residental and Commerical. when the upgrade is completed I should have just over 50k In population Putting Steven's Point back in Lead for Largest City population of Steven's Point Region.

Welcome back to Fairbanks. Fairbanks is a booming city which borders Steven's Point and Dansfield. This city is battling Steven's Point for the Largest City bid LOL. The population of Fairbanks is just over 49k. funds at Fairbanks have taking a bit of a hit though. I've been constantly upgrading Fairbanks with new buildings, roads and yes even waterways. The channel you see at the very bottom of the map I created myself. It was a very small channel at best. Alls I had to do is widen the channel for cruise ships and cargo ships to pass through.

Mayors of Sim Nation, Please help me to introduce the newest city of Steven's Point Region. The name of this city is named after my brother Daniel called Dansfield. The population of Dansfield is just over 9100. It comes complete with Low Residental & Commerical and Medium Industrial along with a small farming communtiy which I'll showoff shortly. There's nothing special here as you can see. Cause I plan on keeping Dansfield Under 25k population. Once I acquire the Marina for Dansfield, It'll give the residents of Dansfield another way to get around. I will add some small recreation area for these sims to give them something to do.

Your region is coming along nicely. I am eager to see some special civic places in your towns: special plazas or buildings or parks which would make each town a bit different than its neighbors. Keep up the nice work. :satisfied:
I've been considering that idea. I have plenty of space in all 3 cities. Just need to know what type of plazas I want LOL. I might try a combo recreation area/plaza together for maybe Fairbanks. Cause I have more space available in that city then I do Steven's Point. The realigment project took up alot space when I was done LOL.
Howdie Mayors, I need some suggestions on reducing a crime ridden city. I looked at the crime data chart. And crime is allover Steven's Point. I've just added a 2nd prison to accomdate the inmates ()what() to do is my ? :D
Hey Starman that would work is to add anther prison but also you would need a strong education sector and also parks and recreation to also help balance out crime
What I did finally ended up doing was this. I had to place more Deluxe Police Station and Large Police Station in Steven's Point. I now have 8 Deluxe Police Stations with 3 Large Police Station and 1 Local Police Station. And did a major realignment with the city of the road ways also and added a new highway to combat traffic congestions :D. I have place the Highway between the Residental District and Commerical District. I did have it going from east to west at the extreme southern point of Steven Point then going south to north. I since then took out that highway with my major realignment project. I've had placed the new highway in between 2 avenues those avenues are also going east to west. My next project will be to organize Steven's Point Landfiel and Water area. I just begun to add a new monorail system and subway system. My other project with Steven's Point is to add a railroad for the commerical and industrial sectors. Tomorrow I'll upload some new photos of my completed major realignment job for Steven's Point ok. I dont know what time though when I'll upload the new photos. I'm guessed I'm hooked on Sim City 4 :D $%Grinno$%. Cause I tend to spend all-day on it :D and forget about time :D $%Grinno$%.

Here's the latest addition to Steven's Point. With the population of 83.5k in the city. We were rewarded with this tourist attraction. This should attract alot of tourists from nearby neighbors of Steven's Point Region. Also, I've added a new subway system to combat traffix along with the new airport. City Income exceeds city expenses. Thus allowing me to reduce taxes for all civilizations in Steven's Point by .4% to anywheres between 8.2 Low Residental to 9.2 High Residentals. In commericals district taxes ranges from 9.2 to 9.7 same goes for Industrial taxes. If I continue to make money for the city of Steven's Point. I'll once again Lower Tax Rate by .2% and Keeping them at their lowest rate in centuries LOL.

Here's the newest recreation area for the sims near the low wealth residental area. As you noticed at the lower left corner of the screen. I have 6 Large Play Grounds for the kids of Steven's Point. At the top left corner of Steven's Point is where the adults can play Tennis or Basketball. On the lower right corner is the Soccer Feild and Baseball Field. I've also made an extension of this park with another Large Green Park and 3 Medium Green Parks. Also added were several small green parks. This is a diagonal park I created at the lower right corner of the screen. At the top right corner of the screen is the Large Plaza, Large Park, Large Flower Garden, And several extras for the super deluxe park for Steven's Point.

Thanks bat, In response to the high crime rate the other date I had. I've added several new police station and added a 2nd prison. now I have 9 Deluxe Police Station and 3 Large Police and 1 Local Police Station which I may upgrade to Large. To assist the Deluxe Police Station I have near the new Deluxe Recreation area. Reason why I call it Deluxe is this. I have the Coastal Casino,Casino,Bingo Hall,Country Club,City Zoo in one area.
When I get more $ for the city I plan on reorganizing that Deluxe Recreation area. Also later on, I plan on rebuilding the railway for commerical &
Industral since I already have monorail and subyway for passessengers. I also plan on rebuilding the Dump as I said earlier. I hope to get Area 5.1 is my current goal. Game year is on 07/27/2071 LOL.

Here's a new project I've begun with Steven's Point. I found a trick I can do with rail/avenue and I'll share with you other mayors for those who dont know. I've placed a railroad track 2 blocks down the old commerical district area. then I place the avenue over the railroad track giving you half avenue. I placed this half avenue the same distance has I did with the RR track. I did the same with the other track going the opposite direction. Then I placed the Subway system (if you need one and have $). In the middle of the split avenue along with a few extras. I plan on doing along the commerical and industrial sectors of Steven's Point. Let me know how you mayors like my new project.

I only see one four times. My tip ist to use a bit more custom content. For example there are many beautiful Underground stations with more or less high capacity so that you don't need to build four underground stations at ONE place.
But nobody is perfect, so keep on this MD!

I have yet more updates & images of Steven's Point for you mayors today. I've been expermenting with my new railroad/avenue trick of making what I call a divided avenue with a subway system. The newest avenue to be upgraded from 2 lanes to 4 was middle section of Steven's Point.
This avenue was your basic 2 lane avenue. I since then upgraded my AVE-4 TO AVE 8 I believe(correct me if I'm wrong). Ave is is 4 lanes in one
direction and 4 lanes in another direction. This is part of my new subway system. Some avenues will be upgraded to 4 lanes on each side. I'll have to wait until I get hands on the new mods that will make this process easier :D. that increase the # of lanes without doing it the hard way using avenues and railroads :). So here's the photo of my divided avenue. Also, can some adjust the code that is showing to make my title bold? I'm see the codes for some reason.

Here' s my version of the RHW still using the avenue/railroad track trick. You'll noticed I have 8 lanes now. 4 going north to south and 4 others going the opposite direction.

Thanks jeronij, Do you have any suggestions on easing traffix? Here's what I've done thus far with trying to solve this issue. I've added several new highways,subways,railroads and yes even airports (1) currently with (2) Landing Strips. I've also begun to lower taxes for the sims of Steven's Point since I've installed Azulz Money Modd. I've always Had it, but took it out of the game just to see If I could do a city without it. And it worked, I was able to have the city without using that mod for 75 game years :D. However, I needed the extra $ to make these new highways :D. But traffic is the major headache of the week. I've just added a dual Elevelated/Ground Highway for the residental area. The Elevelated Highway Starts this new highway at the High Residental Area with Ground Highway ending at the Low Wealth Residental. The main cause of the traffic jams I'm been having in Residental Area is population count which exceeds 130k currently. I need some new Ideas from you mayors ok. might have to rebuild the Residental area again to see if this eases my traffic issues I'm dealing with. The car population of these new highways and avenues are just over 5K. I'll be glad when the new mods come out ;).
Well Mayors, I've returned with new updates Of Steven's Point. Today, I've spent majority of the day relocating all Low & Medium Wealth Residental, Commerical & Industrial District to make room for a new highway and a cloverleaf interchange to support traffic. That's coming out of
the Residental Areas to work or whatever these sims are doing in the city :D. I've also been updating the subway system and added more bus stations for presiditians that like to walk to work. I shall have more photos later this week with the newly rebuilt prison at Steven's Point.The prison
comes complete with Nexis Prison Wall and a small recreation area for the prisoners. I've also relocated the Huge bridge I had connecting a little Island just off the mainland of Steven's Point to the Large Island at the northeast of the city. I'll soon be relocating the High Weath Residental once again to make room for new avenues roads and mass transit system. Here are some photos Of what I've been doing today. The photos I'll show is a completely new rebuilt deluxe recreation center for the sims of Steven's Point. :).

Well mayors, here's the new improved Steven's Point Playground. It comes complete with The Coastal Casino,Casino,Country Club,City Zoo,Resort Hotel,Captain Jack Seafood Rest.,Wendys,Dunkin Donuts,McDonalds,Movie Studio,TV Studio,Radio Station. Just off the left corner of the screen is the cruise port. As you can plainly see by the stats, Our population has exploded LOL to a whopping 146905 sims in Steven's Point. Once again, I'm attempting to realign the Highways of Steven's Point to accomdate the traffic problems I'm experiencing. And also will redo the subway system. That is destroy the old subway and build new ones that will travel up
the avenues only. Hopefully, Hopefully this will ease my problem with the traffic and congestions. However, I do know that the sims will try and make things hard for this mayor :D $%Grinno$%.

Thanks, I'll remember that next time. I've made a nice tunnel for one of my avenues near the ocean of Steven's Point. I'm hoping that will limit the traffic noise level that the residents of Steven's Point are complaining about being too high. I do have those highway walls. I'll have to add more of those to it. I also will have new photos Of Fairbanks as well. Fairbanks borders Steven's Point to the east. I also hope to have new photos of Dansfield which is named after my brother Daniel.

Hey Pat, I do got a bit of a problem in Steven's Point however. It's briefcase starting to popup allover the place. I was in the process of adding more jobs with the game itself stopped and crashed on me :D. Any Suggestions? cause I'm almost out of space in Steven's Point. And I have 2 other cities growing right now. They are Fairbanks which I had to rebuilt due to me making a booboo :D $%\ $%Grinno$%. ()what() did I just do was my ? and then said foolish me, I did again. And I will have Dansfield back-up and running again. Dansfield is named after my brother Daniel. I might have to build a 4th city just for jobs for Steven's Point and call it Steven's Point Heights. I'll see what I decide later today or tomorrow.
yup those brief cases are showing no jobs at all, sounds to me that you have unemployment problem... I will wait to see what you have done to compensate this problem....
I might have to rebuild the business sector of Steven's Point again and see if that'll solve the problem. At least I have some money to rebuild. Which leads me to ask this question. Should I lower the taxes since I have 54million dollars in the city coffer. I currently have taxes at 7.0 to 9.0 in residental district, 7.5 to 8.5 in Commerical, and 8.5 to 9.0 in industrial I have no Farming in Steven's Point cause I have no space for it. Steven's Point coffer ratio is 2-1 which means I'm make more $ then the city expenses. When I bring up more photos I'll show what I'm making in terms of money for the city itself.
Hello Mayors, sorry for long delay of Steven's Point. Today, I have 3 new photos to show you of Steven's Point. These photos will be images of Palace Fine Arts,Big Ben and My new improved Airport for Steven's Point. I've added 2 new runways for the Airport itself. And they connect the Large International Airport. I took care of the traffic problem for now. I cant wait until the TLA and 5-Lane OWR become available. I can sure use them right about now in the city LOL. Like most mayors though I have to be patience. So without further due, he's the update long over due.

Here's the new improved Steven's Point international Airport. I've added 2 new runways for more planes to land in Steven's Point. Best of all, this new improved Airport will provide more jobs To the city and improve my ratings.
Very nice pictures here,its always great to see work in progress. One thing I noticed in picture #2 is that the road does not bisect the avenue but just joins the avenue at both sides. I have never used that technique.

Yes I understand. There have been many times when I have had to make route changes because this game engine sometimes gives us unexpected results, but thats part of the challenge of it all. :thumbsup:
That road is near a avenue HighTower. I've had been hearing fender benders in near that area of town LOL. So I had to fight back. I have a few roads like that. Its also another way for me to create OWRs for commerical & industrial district. I'm starting to think that these sims like to play demolitian derby when driving to work or whatever they are doing LOL.
Yes, I have the latest update from Steven's Point. Earlier today, I took the time to create a new freight yard. The new freight yard is located near the Seaport. I've added a couple of Freight Stations and more parking to complete the seaport/freight yard. Here is the latest pictures of Steven's Point.

Thank you for all your great comments. I've recently added a new bridge connecting Steven's Point to the Prison. Now the Police Department has a new way of getting their prisoners to jail instead of going the long way. I'll have that photo in soon. I've been working on several areas of the city. And added a brand new highway as well of which I will show also. I've been considering on creating a diagonal road or avenue in the residental area. But dont know how to go about LOL. I've also added several new ferries and marianas for the sims of Steven's Point.
Howdie Mayors, Major setback in Steven's Point. Today, the game itself starting acting up for some reason. My buildings were dissappearing after I've downloaded some lots. So I had to uninstall the entire game itself and reinstall it. After I find a few good terrains I like I'll see about rebuilding Steven's Point from scratch again. And I'll have to redownload all my lots I had ok. I guarantee you, Steven's Point will be better then ever after I do all my things I need to do alrighty ()sad() but I am :).
I will be awaiting the rebirth of Stevens Point Starman!!!

I've also discovered a few tricks up my sleave with using OWR roundabouts. They are called rotries, I hope I spelled that correctly l :D $%Grinno$%. Welcome Back to Steven's Point. Here's a Airial tour of Steven's Point. At the bottom of the screen is where the People Of Steven's Point Live, Play and Go To School. I'm waiting for The Population of Steven's Point to reach 3000 before I add The Education System. As you can see in the commericial district, I've added Big Ben. So my sims can't make excuses of why they are late for work or appointment LOL. Further up Steven's Point is the Industrial District. This is where my sims work their misable lives. Also in the industrial district is the coal power plant. I've also upgraded our small fire station to a large one. I'll have more photos of Steven's Point has Our city grows so Stay tuned for more updates.

I've made some updates to the city since last post. I've also added 2 new avenues to accommdate traffic. Sometime soon, I'll have new photos of the avenues and city itself. I hope to add a new Highway to Steven's Point. And thanks for the comment Bat.
