I have downloaded fences and walls for inclosing parks and buildings. It all looks good but every time I try to place a corner fence I am not able to orient it to follow the existing corner. I bring it to the spot I want it but every time I hit 'End' to orient it it imediatly pops back to its defauly orientation. I can't get it to line up and stay there. ()what()
Yes this is a common problem. Sometimes I zoom in real close and make sure the curser point is right in the middle. Other times I have removed the road and then plopped. Plopping very close to a freeway unramp can be a problem. Delet ramp, plop desired item and replace ramp. This might sound extreme but its easier on the nerves sometimes.

Yup, that is the solution I would have suggested myself.

Yea thats what I was afraid of. A little time and expence for peace of mind. :D
I fear it is the only way.
The arrow always points towards a street, road or avenue (not highway). So if you want to orient the lot in another direction the only thing you can do, as far as I know, is to delete the road, plop the lot and rebuild the road. It is a PITA (pain in the rear bottompart of your torso), but this is one of SC4's mysterious ways.
Or did I overlook something?
Means that sometimes I have to demolish a lot of constructions (like bridges) just to plop a small park lot.
