I joined simtropolis in mid 2005, and became obsessed with tram modding in early '06, ever since I have been making my own trams (on both American and European prototypes) and sevral are already on the STEX, I intend to post those here as well, here is a preveiw of what is to come:

This is one of the first trams that I made, it is a model of a TARS 600 class streetcar, these ran the streets of Manhattan until the late '40s.
I will be releasing an updated version of this on the LEX soon.

This is a Chicago Peter Whitt streetcar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Witt_streetcar), other than a painting of Wrigly Feild, I haven't found any historical proof that any of these ran there, or what their paint schemes were.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg176.imageshack.us%2Fimg176%2F8264%2Fgreymaroon6rj.png&hash=22f9f1bd5a08076c030388e38df40b29d861ecf7)
