Every time I run the cleanitol, it says I'm missing dependancies that I have already installed. For example, I have installed the BSC Essentials, but cleanitol says I'm missing it. Am I not installing these right?
[edit] If it helps any, my .dat files show up as Video CD Movies.

Yes, you are most likely installing them right!
The
BSC Essentials (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=443) were updated September 13th.
Before that date, it consisted of 22 separate files:
BLS GA Farm Field Essentials_v2.dat
BLS_Essentials.dat
BLS_Farm_Essentials.dat
BRT_Essentials.dat
BSC SPA Essentials.dat
bsc_Essentials_OG.dat
CAMEssentials.dat
csx_Essentials01.dat
csx_FieldsUI.dat
csx_WFK_Essentials01.dat
D66_Essentials.dat
GC_Essentials.dat
MBEAR_Essentials.dat
sam_essentials.dat
SG_Automata.dat
SG_CrimeAutomata.dat
SG_LandfillProps.dat
SG_MassTransitEssentials.dat
SG_NewsTickers.dat
SG_RLS_Extras.dat
SG_RLS_Props.dat
SNM_Essentials.dat
If your Cleanitol file was referring to any of those above, you will still not be having that file after installing the latest BSC Essentials, because that one contains only one single file:
BSC_Essentials.datIn other words, if you have that file, you have the BSC Essentials.

[edit] If it helps any, my .dat files show up as Video CD Movies.
That is only a question of file type association.
Your video (recording) software has associated *.DAT files to be Video CD Movies.
Since merged SC4 files also have an extension of DAT, these files are by windows considered to be CD movies...
If you double-click a DAT file belonging to SC4, windows will in your case start the video (recording) program and try to open the DAT file with it.
That will of course fail, since the SC4 DAT file is not a movie.
For the SC4 game this file type association doesn't matter at all though.
The file extensions can actually be anything, and the file will still be loaded by the game.
SC4 loads all files that are "DBPF" files, recognized only by the first four bytes reading exactly that, "DBPF".
It is possible to change the file association in windows.
E.g. I have associated all SC4, SC4Model, SC4Desc, SC4Lot and DAT files with iLive's Reader.
Thus, double-clicking any of these files will in my case open iLive's Reader with the file.
Sorry for the inconvenience if any but I may need some help downloading the CAM Essentials BSC file. I click on the link provided and it will take me to this page (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=929) and nothing happens. I look for download nothing, I even tried waiting for a little window to pop up as some downloads are downloaded like that....
Help will be much appreciated thank you! :)
It works fine for me. I'm just guessing you have not registered for the LEX.. you must register there FIRST (and seperately... confusing I know *shrugs*) Click the image at the top right of this page you are reading now (FileExchange) and register.
