Aside from the Shosaloza region, I always have several regions on the go. I get distracted and change my mind a lot. One day I might be playing a European-styled region, the next day a tropical region. So here's where I will post pictures from my cities. To start off, here's part of Ventura's downtown and some suburban areas:
Grrr! There were two other pics here but image shack lost them and I can't find them either.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg267.imageshack.us%2Fimg267%2F6527%2Fjenpventura51px.jpg&hash=71ed35d23a61a954fbfbdc589a0cc20475e5c5ff)
That looks quite cool , jen! i like the downtown and the residential areas
wonderful pictures! Great "sunken" railway!
I NEED those suburban houses. Fantastic pics, I especially like the first one, very true to life. This is going to be a great collection of pics.
Jen- It's always great to wake up to something tasty, and your pics this morning were a real treat.
Looking forward to a great "random" Mayor's Diary.
David
Great stuff Jen_P. A lot of custom stuff also.
Very nice diagonal rail road layout. No nasty triangulars here.
I noticed in the upper left corner of the second picture a very nice lot:

Nice dirt road that I guess is part of the lot or bat or whatever the thing is called.
I am afraid it is your own doing and not available for mere mortals like myself?
I guess those great homes on the third picture are Cycledoggs...So also not yet available?
Nik-Nik
nedalezz and nik-nik, the houses that you are referring to are CP's fantastic houses, which are still in the testing stages. I'm glad you like my city so far.
Hi there!
I am a huge fan of your work. I haven't seen you build before, but I love your BAT:s. The Art Deco houses are going to appear frequently over in my MD. Actually, much of the architectural feeling I'm looking for is defined somewhere in the middle of yours and Debussymans BAT:s.
It's a real treat to see your work in action.
Jen apparently not only makes exquisite custom content but also knows how to incorporate it into a great looking city ... ... a diary well worth following.

Fabulous cities again Jen. And indeed, as the man above said: the CP houses are fantastic and you them right in your pictures.
Thanks for everyone's comments. This is just a quick post, 'cause it's getting late here.
I've started working on a new region. Most of my other regions are at least 6 months old and my attention span is not that long.
This region is called Summerhayes. It is generally flat with a river running through, and some gentle hills. I'll post a region shot when it looks a bit tidier. At the moment it is messy, little bits of city all over the place. The first city I started is Eastridge, a residential city to the east of what will be Downtown.

I love this American inspired city. I always admire how you can chop and change play styles so easily; it's always a pleasure to view!
Ooooooooooooooohhh... those lots are so cool. I want them so bad. &apls &apls &apls
Very Creative ;D especially the teepeed tree :P
:o Your very talented Jen  Keep it up :)
Thanks for all the comments.
Here's a couple of pictures, from North Hayes, north of the CBD.
Firstly, here's a low wealth area:

The centre of the industrial sector:

ooh Mistress stop teasing me with those cycledogg homes. They are so great!
Very nice industrial area. I like the use of Marrast's station there. Difficult to breathe there. The Global warming discussion has not reached your CJ jet ;) LOL
I also like that low wealth area. Glory gone past that neighbourhood I guess.
Can you give me a sneak peak on the area between the appartment buildings. I just wonder what you plop there.
Nik-Nik
Wonderful pictures! I like your centre of the industrial sector!
Nice work Jen, the ind area it's great and well planned. :)
I love that small rail terminal! It look great!! Keep it up Jen ;)
QuoteCan you give me a sneak peak on the area between the appartment buildings. I just wonder what you plop there.
I'm not sure what you mean Nik-Nik. All that I have between the buildings is streets and roads. I am using Jeronij's street mod if that is what you mean.
Here is a few pictures from Downtown, the CBD of Summerhayes. (obviously, I haven't finished working on the city, but I thought I'd show you a bit of progress).

Very nice Jen, only one tiny flaw, that small house with white fence on the second picture, between the yellow row building and the big square one, it looks awful there. An alley or another row building would fit better there. ;)
That's actually a commercial building that Cycledogg has made, sort of a house-turned-shop, but now that you mention it, it doesn't look right where it is.
I thought it was an house because of the fence ;)
Great job! I love the desert terrain! Keep up the good work!
wonderful city! Great pictures!

At the two big circles I notice not a road but some space I believe, or am I wrong?
The corner circle, is that a subway entrance?
Nik-Nik
Hey, Jen- first time commenting...

I'll take my camera next time I go to Anchorage, we have similar situations in several places downtown. You get used to it- I wasn't so taken aback by the house, but the fence in front would clearly not be in a downtown area.
Anyway, great stuff here, and over at Sho-whatever it is (I haven't spelled it right yet- I give up). Thanks for sharing your work with us.
David
Nice work!
Are those growable American Bank landmarks, by the way?
Ok, let's see If I can remember everything I want to say.
Firstly, emilin, they are growable America Banks. There are too many of them in my city at the moment. I can't remember where I got them from, I'm afraid.
dedgren, we have businesses here that used to be houses, particularly on main roads (who wants to live on a main road anyway) and they don't have fences out front either, just parking and a few token plants or something.
Now, Nik-Nik, I have some answers for you. And pictures.
This is a view of the area from a different direction. Between the two buildings that you pointed out is a carpark and a bit of grass with some trees. These trees are not supposed to be there, but due to an ID conflict, some of Cycledogg's trees appear instead of something else. Since I like the look on this lot (although probably not very accurate) I have left them there, others I have fixed in LE.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg245.imageshack.us%2Fimg245%2F6057%2Fnorthhayes3iq5.jpg&hash=52d726f4ad477332d1186b53665081a567758045)
The next pic is from the opposite direction and shows the spot where you asked about the subway station. From the looks of the original picture, I think it was one of Cycledogg's little houses, it has since been replaced with one of Don Miguel's low wealth rowhomes.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg299.imageshack.us%2Fimg299%2F3277%2Fnorthhayes4zy8.jpg&hash=d036a553c0047fe4cff3c52e7d01c2796e2be5d9)
I hope I have answered your questions, though the answers are most likely not as exciting as you expected.
I have some more pictures from the same area too:

Really cool Jen ... I like it ... those low wealth areas looks quite realistic.
Amazing, I love the old school buildings, giving it a New York/Chicago feel. I also like how you blend the small, soon to be bulldozed small buildings with the newer, all mighty tall buildings. Great job.
Very nice work Jen!! I love how there are so many trees between the buildings, it looks great!
Amazing pictures Jen. Great work &apls
Jen- I noted a bit ago I'd look around in Anchorage for examples of little houses that have stood as the city grew up around them. There's a lot of that up here- here's three.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg78.imageshack.us%2Fimg78%2F6333%2Fsmallhouse01gs6.jpg&hash=14db5c3ada2e91be0997d15b51f654bd999a8815)
One block from 6th and A Street- the "center" of the city.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg389.imageshack.us%2Fimg389%2F2351%2Fsmallhouse02xi5.jpg&hash=ee324c1f4428c6a00b34cd95a387fd012c773e81)

7th and C Street.
Each, as noted, is right in the center of town, all within a few city blocks. So, it's certainly not unlike RL to see such things in your (wonderful) cities.
Random. Is. Good.
David
Great MD you have going here. I really like cp's houses, hopefully they will be availible soon. And your low wealth district looks awesome. Great pictures and great job!
Thanks for all of the comments everyone, I haven't forgotten about this thread. I've been very busy this week. Last night I went to see Eric Clapton in concert and tonight I'm going to see Little Britain Live, so maybe tomorrow I'll be able to fire up SC4 again.
Dedgren, the pictures that you took are exactly like CP's little commercials, except for the fences. I started a new city today which will probably have a few of these in it.
Well, I've been playing this region again lately. I haven't got much to show yet but here's what the region looks like at the moment. It's a bit messy and unfinished right now. I have big plans for the region, whether or not I actually manage to get them realised is another matter.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg86.imageshack.us%2Fimg86%2F2234%2Fsummerhayes1uc8.jpg&hash=ef6a0cef8fa7328a6026e2d5d0e0cea29edacee7)

Well, I don't think your region looks "messy," I think it looks great! I can't wait to see how you develop it further. Great job!
I like this. the only criticism i have is SG's suburban houses among all the apartment buildings. I've experienced the same problem myself as they grow in medium density zones, and not low density zones which is kinda annoying.
Jen- Having grown up among the very "griddy" cities of the US midwest, I can relate to yours. I don't see messy, either. I see "path of growth."
David
great work
Hey Jen,
Love your building almost as much as your work. Thanks for sharing it all with us.
The region looks great to me. And I have the same problem. I have these grandiose ideas at the start and than it slowly dies off and I have to start something new. Anyways, your well on your way and I can't wait to see what's next.

I've gone off on a bit of a tangent again (I'll come back to Summerhayes later) and started a British-style region using an exaggerated UK map found many moons ago on the STEX. I haven't built anything yet (have to organise my plugins folder for it) but I can give you some nature shots:

Hooo ! Awesome map ! Great Job Jen_p ! I hope to see more soon !
thats a strange looking map
you've made it nice looking though
It looks like a good start (though building on the northern side may prove to be interesting). I am curious though... in the close up of that stream... it doesn't seem to be the same as the other water. Is this a re-textured plop water I haven't seen or what? Either way it looks good, and I'm sure will continue to improve once you organize your plugins.
You're right, that's an exaggerated map you're working with... but from the looks of things, it sure ought to be a lot of fun to start building on and developing.
Those are some fantastic screenshots of the pristine terrain. Looks great!
That UK map looks pretty good! I love the ploppable water you've done. I can't wait to see how you develop it!
Wonderful region and great island!
That looks so disturbing and still wonderful at the same time. &apls
This is an interesting and challenging map of GB. Looking forward to the goodies that will show us hereafter :satisfied:
Hi! Lovely map you have there! And interesting cj.
I join my voice to the concert ; surprising map & landscape ... so original .
the map is really beautiful, the design is very realistic, and the color is great, cant wait to see more of this
Great map - playing on this will be a challenge - but I'm always amazed at how each of your cities has such a different feel from the previous one, so I'll be keen to see where you take this.
hello jen. 1st time to drop by. if you call not being able to follow through on ideas for regions or cities is a problem, i think i have the same "problem" as you do. :'( as for developing, however, you are worlds ahead of i am. i cant even get to stick to a theme! :'( you are a magician with the developing you do. i hope you overcome this "problem." will be waiting for your next update. "scotland" seems to be daunting. ;D

The ploppable water that I have used is by Sorchin, and includes several types of water, rocks, dead trees and wildflowers. Either from STEX or PLEX.

I've been putting my plugins folder back together again (still have a couple of problems to iron out) but I thought I'd show you some pictures from one of my test cities. Very British looking, and very well putted together. Excellent work my friend.
The streets with rowhouses are just corgeous - and very British in my opinion
I also like the long streets surrounded by row homes - it reminds me of some of the residential districts in Boston, Massachussetts.
Your pictures appear to be alive and energetic compared to most other CJs, which honestly can sometimes look rather dead and lifeless.
-aaron
I just went thropugh your CJ and I really do like it.
I really love that "Ghetto" on page 2 and the dirty industry. I am a bit bored by all these nice&clean Rich neighbourhoods & Skyscrapers and really ebjoy if someone takes care for the poorer sims!
As someone who is still using the same downloaded Greyscale Map for two years now I really pay respect if I can see such a beautiful nature environment.
And I am pleased that you focused a bit on the ThingRow - houses - one of my favourites yet you don't se them very often in a MD / CJ.
Take acre
Bernhard
well, ive been to england once. as far as i can recall, it does look like the real deal! &apls excited to see how you work with the landmarks of London and all other popular landmarks, for that matter. see you around
Those rowhouses look amazingly good in that setting!
Outstading update, great pics.
Robin
Jen, hi.
Never been to London, but I've been to Baltimore (U.S.) [linkie] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltimore,_Maryland). Every one of those pics has something that evokes the Monument City for me.
It's great work- glad to see the plugins situation is sorting itself out.
David
Great stuff Jen - very British - I like what you've done with Emmas' terraces.
Well, I don't know if it looks British or not (I'm from Pennsylvania...), but whatever it looks like, I think it looks great! Great job!
I'm brittish and i can tell you that is quite accurate it is but not all of england is old and stuff don't be scared of adding new modern loking buildins apart from that looking good
I forgot to ask you where you got the "PC Building" from. Thanks in advace if you can help.

Thank you very much jen_p.

Wow, so many replies, thanks to everyone who commented.
I've started two cities now, Pemberton and Littleton-On-Sea:
Pemberton's main residential area:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg259.imageshack.us%2Fimg259%2F884%2Fpemberton1oh0.jpg&hash=344f983683f57772d21eb30b74fa3d268a9f64bc)

The church, the fire station, hotel, and most importantly, the pub:

Pemberton's train station:

An overview:

Littleton-On-Sea would have to be the smallest village I've ever created. It's not much more than a small train station and a few houses:

nice-nice-nice
Nice job, jen_p. I love the steep hills, but I think my favorite picture is the one with the train coming through the town. It looks very realistic! Keep up the good work!

An Ozzie captures England...
Technically, I'm a Brit as well as an Ozzie, so I have a sort of ancestral feeling that it is home.
Oh and thanks a bunch for the special interest April 07 award.
First time that i post on your MD ... I don`t know why i didn`t before but anyway , i just like what i saw and this award is well deserve. &apls &apls Looking forward
Nice work here Jen, great atmosphere you have created with the different bats you're using.
Great pics, I love the row homes and industrial right across the track.
Congrats on the award.
Robin
Once again, more fantastic pictures. And I see that you managed to get the japanese walls to work correctly too. I must admit that I failed. After several tries I settled for only 4 out of 5 working textures.
congrats on the award, jen_p!
Great pictures and work!
congrats on the award and those two towns are wow! great touch. i was thinking the name would make it closer to the sea, however. lol. anyway. those are nice pics. congrats again on the award. see you around jen
Nice pictures, your cities look very realistic. And congratulations on the award.
Congratulations on the "Special Interest" award, my friend! Can't wait to see the next update!
Congratulations are certainly in order for the award as this MD is the source of much "interest". In particular, the one pic with the train pulling into the station (in the 4th pic) is a nice contrast of the old and the new. Although, in the second to last pic, the one with the shot of the station, it seems that if the track going around the station is meant to serve as a way for trains not stopping at the station to bypass it, it would make more sense to have the station off to the side so that the mainline (bypassing the station) does not have to go through the curves of the switches (and therefore force the trains to slow down to do so). Either way, this is a great MD, keep it coming.
Thanks, everyone, expect an update over Easter!

You caught me out. Where's that sheepish smiley when you need it. I put the station on the main line, before I realised I needed a bypass.

Stunning style jen ... &apls ... you're one of those having pictures immediately identifiable .
Your transit enable parkings and road network are awesome , many pictures (not only on this last set -I'm posting here for the first time but I'm visiting regularly your random cities ) are a real source of inspiration . ;)
Edit ; Ooops , It's not the first time ... but twice isn't enough though .... $%Grinno$%
Hello Jen
You do show a very particular and consistent style. I liked the pics
I adore your town of Albion. I especially like how you have the road dividing into two streets with parkings on both sides and a tree-lane inbetween :o
And I noticed that your cars drive on the right side...How's that?
great pictures of Albion! wonderful work, jen_p!
there's the sea! :P nice nice. $%Grinno$% and your favorite intersection, im making it my favorite, too. those rowhouses... careful not to try opening the doors of your next door neighbors! lol. very real. every house looks just like the next so its going to be hard going home drunk. lol great detail, jen. see you around
Very cool update, the parking lots look great, nice over all feel. Great work.
Robin
Albion looks fantastic. Mas'/prepo's diagonal parks look like they were made for you! They really complement the terraces and the intersections, well done!

An applaud is in order! &apls &apls That update was just fantastic! Great talent you have there, jen_p!
EDIT: Funny thing about that door thing. A long time ago, In Ireland, There was this one man who came home drunk, and all the doors were painted the same color, so he went into the wrong house, slept with the wrong woman, and well...he wasn't heard from again.
Then, after the wives found out about the story, they all painted their doors a different colors so their husbands wouldn't walk into the wrong home :D
That's so funny. Hopefully their husbands weren't colourblind! ;D
Jen- It appears that I have never posted here yet (i thought I had). I've really been enjoying your updates. Your CBDs are simply amazing. you have such an eye for detail. i am looking forward to more updates and btw thanks again for the link you shared with me.

Very nice towns. It's a pity that the drop from the front door of some of the british style rowhomes is so steep.
I am glad that in later towns the homes are more slope friendly. Alas in my opinion those are not as nice as those fabulous row homes.
I have to say that that city centre is the best looking small town city centre I have ever seen. It's almost like real life.
Nik-Nik
OK this update has come a bit late, but you all know the saying, better late than never. Thanks everyone for the comments, I'm glad you all like my cities. I am hoping to get the Australian houses onto the LEX soon (Please note: soon + real life = unpredictable).

Firstly, a couple of questions I need to answer:
1. The sidewalk mod is by mjig_dudy and is available on the LEX.
2. The terrace houses are by the new thing, called Thing Terraces, and are over at Simtropolis. I made my own lots for them, but they won't be released because Barby would have my head on a stick, for lot-making malpractice.
Next up is my version of London, which will be nothing like the real one, but it is about where London should be on the map.
Here's a shot before I started any work. I think that this is meant to be the Isle Of Dogs.

Looking good, jen_p! I love the stone bridge crossing the water, especially! Great work, my friend!
Looking good, :P Can't wait for the next update  Lovelly composition. :-[
Great updates again; I like the reflection in the glass that that high rise seems to have - I'm always impressed by the results you get from the sea walls - these latest offerings are no exception.
:D Were did you get those corner buildings.Anyways great cj
Very, very nice update. I like how you place the corner parks, great work.
Robin
looking good Jen
I'm loving that British / Prussian style wall to wall you have going, the colors are very bright and I like that alot!
Thanks everyone, for the kind comments. Jayo, I'm not sure which corner buildings you are asking about. This may be the last update for a couple of weeks, because I'm moving house tomorrow, and the internet connection isn't sorted out yet.
These are more views around my region's version of London (remember this is not based on RL, so please don't compare this to the real London).

I like it Jen :) it's sorta cool with a fictional London based city
by the way, where did you get those buddybudd lots? &mmm
i mean, i must have missed them because i don't think i have seen em at SC4D LEX nor STEX, care to help me out a bit? :P
QuoteThese are more views around my region's version of London (remember this is not based on RL, so please don't compare this to the real London).
No comparison, the real one is much grimier ;D
Looking good! It has an urban feel, yet still maintains the great qualities of your other smaller areas. Great job!
very nice, very busy, intricate and detailed, just the way i like it. Loving those walls too, i dl'd them now i must try them
ok, a couple of answers:
Glenni: The buddybud lots were (I think) attached to the under bridge scenery thread at ST.
marcszar: I managed to dredge up the Garyreggae buildings from the darkest depths of my hard drive. He was around at the BSC board not all that long ago, so he may be contactable. Who knows?
Some of his towerblocks are still at simcity.com exchange, searc for gaz2tonic, that's him ;)
Much good stuff. Those retaining walls are amazing looking! I think I have to get them too.
Lovely Jen ... I like the overall atmosphere a lot.
Where is that cop shop from ?
Nice one ;D
as usual, jen, a great collection of pics. You have a good eye for detail and i like your use of the Hi-wall set :satisfied:

It's one of Garyreggae's BATs.
I love those sea walls, but I can't seem to find them. Are they still available?
A very nice update Jen, a lot of nice details and things to see around your city.
Welcome to page 9!
That's a wonderful update! Fantastic island!
OK, I have an internet connection again. It's been a hard couple of weeks without a regular SC4D fix.
The sea walls are the Marrast Embankment set. I'm not sure where they are available at the moment, but if you ask in the "Where can I find this?" section, someone will be able to point you in the right direction.
Here's a quick update:

The Marrast files are downloadable from ST and the embankment set is there also: Marrast Embankment Set (http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=16655)
Lovely pictures Jen; the underground station and the area around it are very nice.
I noticed a dark 'diagonal strip' in the middle of the 3rd picture, down from the yellow car, with a green wall on one side. I cannot figure out what it is... ()what()
;D WOOHOO,another update :P :P Getting better very time!!

Great update! Fantastic commercial area, but where do you get these stairs in the second picture (they are looking beautiful)!
It's just superb. Your city has a special atmosphere that I like a lot. But just a detail... there are 5 SG's Sainsbury Savacentre on the first pic ::)
It is splendid... You use all the parks and it is very well organized
But I have the same remark as my friend Air6 on the SG's Sainsbury Savacentre which are repeated ;)
Nice update ;D Grat work on the river!!
Great update Jen! Looking at your cities is like eye-care :satisfied: Everything is just perfect.
PS I even start recognizing corners in your city, so intense do I look at enjoy your updates!
Jen- fantastic update as usual. I also intensely study all the details and invariably find something to download that i wasn't previously interested in until i saw you use it. Bravo &apls
Super stuff Jen - the way you use Marrasts stuff really shows this city off very well. But - what I really liked was the picture where you have the retaining wall stair case joing deadwoods underground mall next to the subway station - very clever
Very nice city. :) I'd like to say more but well... lack of english...
Anyway :
Best update so far, in my opinion. &apls &apls &apls
I really, really like the picture labelled "residential area". It's stunning!
Very, very nice work. Great attention to details, I love it. The walls from mas71 look great as well and fit in fantastically in your city.

Sexy stuff :D
Another fantastic update! I love your use of the Marrast Seawalls and the other custom BATs. Great work!
Good to have you back again :)
A stunning update. nice use of those walls. and you put so many nice little details and eyecatchers in your citis. is it accidental or are you simly very, very, very, good with this? ;D
Strech.
bat: The stairs are from the Japanese walls set by Mas71.
Air6/Snaper: Yes, I know there's lots of one building. I have lots of variety in my plugins folder, and the same few buildings always grow.
Strechnitz: 43.62% accident, 37.97% planning, 18.41% other.
Everyone else, thanks for the wonderful comments.
I have a different city to show you today. Adjacent to London is a city I've called Brighton. I might change the name, as it didn't turn out very seaside-like. It will eventually meet the city of London and become outer suburbs.
At the moment there are lots of quiet streets, many surrounded by woods.

Those are some very green looking suburbs, the repetion of buildings looks great in these kind of areas.
Fantastic update and great pictures. Throwing in the RHW on the avenue, neat idea. Speed up traffic a little. Al the houses look so good the way you have them set up. The train station with the parking lot beside it looks so good as well.

Great work, jen_p!
I especially like dirt alleys on second picture and Mas71 diagonal park on third one.
The new hospital looks very well in it's surrounding, also all rail stations.
Generally, i like the way you put together older and newer buildings. It is difficult to build new objects in old city and to don't lose it's atmosphere. Keep it up!
Soooo nice ! Like the past and current updates, as that not-really a city feeling ! Love it !! And your not-really a downtown is so british !
It's very nice, I live
But, I think there are, for my liking, too many stations for a little city ...

Thanks for the comments. Jayo, they are the BSC hedges, I think by Caliban. And I'm surprised that you remember Argosy. I sort of abandoned that one when I got a new computer.
Anyway here is another update. Back to London this time. I'll let the pictures do the talking:

... what vester and glepet said :). I love studying the details in your cities- excellent as usual
Wonderful slopes and i love you use of various plazas
Beautiful pictures, jen_p! That city is looking fantastic! Great work!
It's fantastic ... I love your way of urbanizing your city
It makes really british $%Grinno$%
Bravo &apls
Another stunning update, jen_p! But then again, I wouldn't expect anything less! The last picture is my favorite with the train station--beautiful work. I'll be looking forward to seeing more!
Great work as always. Your attention to every last detail is outstanding. I like how you deal with the slopes, there are so many levels nicely hidden in your city. I can look at your pictures for ever.........okay a very long time. Every visit here I get new ideas.

Robin
Thanks for all of the wonderful comments. I have been very busy this week and haven't had much time to play SC4, but here are a couple of little mosaics:

Wonderful two mosaics, Jen!
I love, it's very well done ... I'll like to have this environment british in my city too

Your pics inspire me to work harder at SC4

Awesome work on those mosaics. &apls
Robin
Another great update jen-p    .....Lovelly skyscrapers &apls &apls
I just went over the last two page's updates ...
let me just say one word:
WOW  &apls
Great works wıth the those fences - I used them only ın rural environments until now ...
How did you get these long rows of Thing-row houses? Did you plop them? Because when I try to get them growing it takes ages to bulldoze and wait and bulldoze and wait and bulldoze and wait and bulldoze and wait and bulldoze and wait ... %confuso
... and in the end there is one(!) lot right in the middle where I cannot get a Thing-row house at all ... &mmm
About the White Swan - they REALLY seem to come only in dozens ...
Take care and make Backups! %wrd
Bernhard
Once again thanks for the comments.
Nardo: The rows of thing terraces are growable lots that I made. I made the houses into props and there are four on a lot. And yes, you are right about the white swan. Gascooker made the high street set in part to compete against it, but it still turns up everywhere.
Here's another small update:
A terraced slope:

I was hoping that I would get mostly rowhouses grow, but I guess that my sims wanted little high-wealth cottages instead. A few closeups of the area:

Pretty neat update, Jen. I love your terrace work!
That "terrace-area" is looking very great, jen!
While that is extremely impressive, you might consider getting a slope mod, I doubt a car can climb that angle :P
Wow, beautiful! I love the "before-and-after" feel with the undeveloped zones, then the shot of them developed. Great job, jen_p!
Amazing ;) ;) ;) Like your zoning :P
QuoteWhile that is extremely impressive, you might consider getting a slope mod, I doubt a car can climb that angle
At least it'll be a breeze to push-start your car. :D
Very nice terraced area. It wouldn't look out of place in either San Francisco or New Zealand. :P
I've gone off on a tangent again. I've started a new region with a new plugins folder. This time I haven't really gone for a theme, it's just lots of buildings that I like. Usually I play large sized cities, but this time, seeing as I will move it across to my old laptop I've been playing only medium sized tiles.
The first city, Moncreiffe gets off to a pleasant start:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg523.imageshack.us%2Fimg523%2F7084%2Fmoncreiffe01qf0.jpg&hash=3a8c7c34925e385d684e58afe58865716715cf75)

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg524.imageshack.us%2Fimg524%2F8301%2Fmoncreiffe03th8.jpg&hash=076cd07ba88094c0a2d5fab43403c37e35c4cd9a)
Pretty soon the area starts to change:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg523.imageshack.us%2Fimg523%2F2900%2Fmoncreiffe04nn9.jpg&hash=d7fe240170b201d1b0498badedc519cdeae4d6ce)

An industrial area starts bringing more people in to the town:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg523.imageshack.us%2Fimg523%2F6516%2Fmoncreiffe07lg6.jpg&hash=0e0ea4d5164d71a1596d852aba6aae73dd106315)

Suddenly, the city is booming:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg72.imageshack.us%2Fimg72%2F9320%2Fmoncreiffe09hf1.jpg&hash=7e4d7b94a888c7340f203623665aebe0a09877fc)

One of the oldest parts of town now:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg524.imageshack.us%2Fimg524%2F939%2Fmoncreiffe13wa8.jpg&hash=dc16d2e0eecb3f5620e08f88c2e57809ca7069b0)
Big business comes to Moncreiffe:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg524.imageshack.us%2Fimg524%2F827%2Fmoncreiffe14bn5.jpg&hash=f6dbfa29c26bf773e289cd031c807851e898851c)
And finally, a bit of an overview. Does anyone want to shop at Nordstroms? My cities never grow just one of a building:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg72.imageshack.us%2Fimg72%2F7510%2Fmoncreiffe15ro4.jpg&hash=33a1062e0dd76176fc9cec6b7a2fdd7ab8e63696)
yey!!!!An update ;D ;D Nice city.I would lover to see some more highrises
As usual, another great update. I'm intrigued with that green highrise. Is that available somewhere?
The green highrise is a commercial building by Bixel, available at ST.
Hopefully I will have some time later on today to post an update.
glepet: Here's a link to that green high-rise (http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?p=results) you were looking for! Hope this helps!
I'll be looking forward to the next update, jen_p!
Ok.Nice update!Yes i know i've allready commented :) but were do get those marrast pieces that can be placed on embankments and form a bridge &Thk/(

Thanks Jen_p for the info. Thanks Thundercracker for the link, but it didn't work for me. I did find it by doing a bixel search.
Jayo, which embankment pieces are you talking about? If they're in one of the pics I've posted tell me which one, please.
I didn't get the update posted last night, obviously, I went out for dinner instead (good Mexican), but here it is now.

beautiful update jen! Very nice canal area, and Matt's houses look great next to the canals.
Awesome update. The canal looks very well placed among the rest of the city. It looks like a nice place to live.
Robin ()stsfd()
OK Jen that last update has won me out of the ()lurker() closet here....
Wow simply just stunning i so love the way you are using the canals and
seasonal trees awsome Jen i will be back for more and say more too LoL - pat
it's so LOVELY ! the canal makes the feelings as the building choise ! The matt house and the dutch (whatever it is :) ) building are coherent, like it :) and the mid rise are fabulous here (btw what are their names and where can I find it ? never seen them before...)
Beautiful work, jen_p! Broadhurst looks amazing. I love the mosaic in the last picture, too! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the comments, I'm glad you all like it. I have had quite a bit of fun with this region because I haven't given myself any rules or restrictions. I usually have a framework that I work within ie. big American city, Adelaide suburbs, etc.
nova vesfalo, I think the buildings that you are referring to are the HK garden estate towers by Bixel. I may be wrong, and I'm sure someone will chime in with the correct name.
Here is a quick update from another city, called Langrish. A commercial area in front of various apartment buildings:

Great shots Jen - I really like the direction this has taken - your MD is unique :)
Jen- I just love scrolling through your pics on a lazy afternoon. Your cities have a sunwashed laid-back quality to them that makes me certain, even despite the high level of development, that they'de be nice places to live.
Next comment, by the way, makes your MD a classic!
David
I couldnt resist to help you out Jen so here you go... I'm still waiting to see more of citys from you though - pat
Let me be the first to officially congratulate you on becoming a classic! &apls &apls &apls &apls &apls
Your cities are beautiful, and oh so realistic too, my only problem is that they turn me green with envy. Keep up the great work!
Fred
Congratulations on making it to the Classics, jen_p! You deserve it!
Wow, I go away for the weekend, and my MD becomes a classic. Who would have thought it?
Anyway here is a little update. I am actually playing the same region with the same plugins folder on two different computers. One is an older laptop which is very slow, but it allows me to concentrate on little details, the other is a much larger desktop, which I can quickly build larger cities. The previous pictures are all from the desktop version. The ones I am about to post are from the laptop version, and there is quite a difference.
I have been very patient and have managed to grow a whole suburb of CP's fantastic houses. I love watching the seasons turn:

For a complete contrast, I have also created a Mediterranean suburb:

Wonderful "green" update! Fantastic pictures, jen_p! And Congrats on becoming a classic!! &apls
Jen - your random cities are really Classic - a well deserved promotion &apls
The different Seasons pics are wonderful to look at: the layout, the homes and the tree combinations make an excellent update.
This time I've been playing around with some diagonal buildings that Prepo has made:

very good use of the diagonal buildings, your whole city looks fantastic
What you did with the diagonal buildings is amazing. Getting away from the orthogonal pattern witout the sawtooth at the streets - wow!
Take care and make backups!

^^ couldn't agree more with Bernhard! Amazing Jen... I love it! You show some excellent city building talent...once again &dance

No wonder why I couldn't find them! Thanks for letting me know!
The update looks fantastic, too! I love the field in the middle
(I'm with emilin--is that cricket?), and the GLR line looks simply beautiful! Wonderful job, as always,
jen_p!
really nice the way the criket field is stuck between buildings make it looks really urban ! And the glr is really nice , and the W2W are very well used , It gave the feeling of a middle siezd town. Great job !
You always have wanderful updates and this one is no different. Love the cricket park.
Robin
I've been working on another update, but it's taking me longer than I expected :(, so I thought I'd do a bit of a flashback &idea. I've gathered together some of my favourite pictures from my old city journals at ST, which most people wouldn't have seen, and posted them here for you to all see. The first three are from a region called Argosy, the rest are from various other regions. Enjoy:

Terminal 1 @ Windmeade Airport:

Nice looking airport, and I love how you have used the diagonals from Prepo.
Thanks for the comments, all.
Rooker1: The airport packs are ACP VLT RMIP thingys with lots of acronyms (need icon for brain not working very well on a sunday morning).
Now for an update. Development has sprung up around the newly christened Windmeade-Retro International Airport ;)
Hotels of varying quality have been constructed on roads leading into the airport terminal:

dedgren, that's really made my week.
Jayo, some of the trees are available on the LEX, look up Colyn and Andreas. Some of them are unavailable at the moment, I guess Colyn hasn't had a chance to upload them to the LEX yet.
I have been working more on Windmeade, the city surrounding the airport.
A couple of night shots of the airport:

Another set of great pictures. I really like the way you use the Rural high way and the avenue together. Cool idea. I know you have used it before, but I still like it. I may try it going through my industrial area. &Thk/(
In your second picture, where did you get that park? Very nice, I would like to use it in my MD. ::)

Fantastic new pictures! Great looking area!
Jen a wonderful update and very scenic tour threw this city - pat
very very great ! the close up pics are slendids ! I reaaly like the way the official buildings are placed ! with the lillte plazza between them. The Cabin and the yellow houses are very good looking !!
Beautiful, jen_p! I love your use of the RHW and the schools look great, too! I'll be looking forward to seeing more!
:o- wow- impressed as usual! Great update jen. What is that lot with the 5 small cabins in your 4th pic? I too am curious about the park in the 2nd.
Just a quick update here, the lot with the cabins is one of Colyn's creations, possibly with the lot by Barby. I can't remember off the top of my head, and the park is by Mas71, and it's seasonal.
Here are a couple of teaser pics of what is to come:
An overview of the airport, showing the terminal that I've previously shown, which is now, with an airport expansion, the domestic terminal:

Wonderful new pictures of your airport! Great work!
Wow Jen, your use of RHW is very novel and unique. I love the use of them this way. Great work.
That airport is wonderfull too, what's it called by the locals? The Donut? LOL
Those sneak peaks taste like more, more, MORE.
Take care.
Nik-Nik
Looking good, Jen. Great pics. The airport looks impressive.
I look forward to the next update. :)
Outstanding airport, jen_p! And I love the teaser shot you've made. I'll be looking forward to seeing the update!
First out: very very very good... as always. &apls &apls &apls
Second: would you mind to explain how you think when you chose your different road styles? Why did you chose to use the rural highways in that way, for instance? And why did you use streets (and not roads) just in front of the civic buildings? Don't missunderstand this as critisism (it most certainly isn't because I think it looks great!) I'm just interested in how you think about these things.
Jen that is a wonder sneek peek and i loved the update in all... great job
Love the sneek peak collage.

&apls &apls &apls &apls I loving the sneak peek thingmajig and great airport too :P :P :P :P :P :P :P
Just a quick reply, I will update with more pictures on the weekend.
Emilin, Your questions are quite interesting. Firstly, the rural highways. I guess there are two reasons that I've been using the rural highways. Firstly there is the increased capacity, but the second reason is that I've never really liked the look of avenues. I don't care for the median strip down the centre, I would prefer to see a raised grass strip maybe with the odd tree, something less manicured. I also prefer the lighter colour of the rural highways. I would be happy if all the roads/streets/highways were that colour, with varying widths and markings to differentiate between them. The reason that I used the streets in the civic area, instead of the roads, was to have trees on the sides. About a year ago, I was travelling through Wyoming, and I stopped in Cheyenne for a short time. Whilst I was there I visited the State Capitol, which was surrounded by tree lined streets and other civic buildings with grass and trees in a semi-formal sort of arrangement. I was not trying to replicate this directly, but I wanted to give my little civic area a hint of this sort of atmosphere.
Great airport Jen! And I am very pleased to see the dutch flag all over the place in your faboulous city! :satisfied:
As promised, here is the airport update. Around the other side of the airport is the international terminal.

Wow! Your airport is stunning, jen_p! Absolutely stunning! I love the terminals and all the parking! Great work!
Well , I wouldn't have thought about that use for TNeu Building ...The result is spectacular indeed . I didn't like that much the use of Ympyratalo ... but with your creativity you can be proud of this stunning and unique airport . &apls

I agree so much with that ! I'm surprised that no Modder have thought
seriously about that subject. Personally I can bear only the medium wealth avenues - for streetlights - (so I've began to change all my new Lots wealth with LEprop ...) . You can try the No Junk Mod by Pegasus , but that time It's truly looking too bare . We need something between these extremes .... ::)

I agree too with the fact that roads/streets/highways should have the same color and this one ... Maxis ' roads are fresh for eternity .
Already said ? I love your visible skill everywhere in this MD . ;)
Interesting usage of that monolithic BAT at an airport.
Looks ok. Maybe out of place.
And if you like lighter roads just use streets with a high capacity modifier. JRJ's streetside mod is highly recommended also.
Great!
Where can I get the props needed to make these kind of airports?
Super work on the airport. It looks very realistic. I like the fence around it, so many people forget this small detail.

oh man, now you made me feel even worse about my crappy airport :P

Maxis' roads are fresh for eternity.
So true. I think that is why I don't like the dark roads, but I always feel that the streets and highways are too light for my tastes. The rural highway is a happy medium.
Madeira: The airport packs are ACP VLT RMIP thingys with lots of acronyms. Look here at the lex and also at Simtrop.

Missed afew updates ;)Sorry.Amazing airport :)
Massive airport, jen_p! You certainly put a lot of time and effort into that! I haven't figured out those terminal pieces yet! Great job, as always, my friend!
nedalezz: The parking lots are mostly my work (there's a couple of NDEX lots in there too) but I have no plans for release. I made them really quickly (they're very easy to chuck together) and Barby would shoot me for bad lotmaking.
NikNik: Oops. I meant to look around for a control tower and I forgot.
thundercrack83: It took me a while to work out the terminal pieces (actually all of the airport pieces) before I got this result. I don't know how many times I bulldozed and started again.
Now, onto the update (apologies for the lateness, I blame a inadequately heated cheese and bacon pie):

Hi Jen. I just browsed through your last two updates. i really like the way you play the game. You have a nice mixture of old and new, industry is next or near commercial disctricts - such as - The placement of Jess power plant behind the water tower and near the main street style commercial distrcit is something that I would see in real life.

I am so glad you mention this. i also have the smae buildings growing in my towns, with 4.2 Gig of lots and bats I might expect a bit more variety. I guess the city planners in my PC are a bunch of traditionalists :D
I like that picture with the tiny (Haarlemmergold) dutch buildings squeezed between all those massive highrises. It's somewhat funny.
That last picture also brought a smile to my face with the huge Embassy Suites building on one site and the medeterranian building across it where the laundry still hangs in the alley between the houses and life takes it slow pace. What a big contradiction!
Love it.

I don't know what you do exactly but I hope all went well last Saturday!
Looking at the pictures, I'd say it was worth the wait. I really like that picture with the ferris wheel (is that the right word for it in english?) and London's milleniumbridge...I sure hope that your bridge doesn't tremble and swing making your sims feeling sick in their belly's like the original does/did :)
That hillside area sure looks like a nice place to live, plenty of streetside parking, street trees and as it appears: not that much traffic! It's really too bad that it's so hard to grow realistic buildings on a slope, looking at it the bright side: all the residents need is a long rubber cord and some basic mathematical knowledge to be able to bungy jump into the backdoor neighbour's backyard! :)
All the best with the busy life! I hope you can find the time to post a small update, because I like what I see here
Jen , I envie you - that even in such a busy period as this is for you, you find the time to play the game AND to even post the result here in your MD. Bravo Girl! \\

Well, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat finishes tomorrow night, and after that I should have much more time to devote to SimCity again. In the mean time, here are a few images from Lutyens. We saw this city a while back, but since then it has had a complete overhaul.

Some really great pictures of the downtown! Great using of the GLR.
&apls very nice!
As usual, a magnificent update here, jen_p! I love the way you used the GLR! Keep up the good work, my friend!
Jen wow as usal masterful and well crafted works of art from you... sorry i missed last few updates but wow its still great to catch up and follow some more great devolpment - pat
I really like your use of the GLR. Are those stations NOB's? I recognize them... just can't put my finger on it...! Is it being used in the city?
Wonderful work with the GLR, I love how it branches out of the center of the avenue to go to stations with little parking lots. The details in your pics such as that make them wonderful to look at. Keep up this awesome work.
;D WELCOME to PAGE 19!!! ;D
Very nice work Jen.
Great to see how that GLR spirals through the streets. Well done indeed those stations and parking lots combo.
Take care,
Nik-Nik
CabraBuitre: Yes they are NOB GLR stations.
Here's another update, with pictures from the same city. I'll let the images speak for themselves:

:o wow jen- as usual i am at a loss of words.
Fantastic updates. Each pic has such detail and I always pick up great ideas from you. &apls &apls &apls
The religious center, the basilica and churchyards, are very well made.
I am not sure if the tram passengers will like all the curves during the ride, but it certainly looks great in the picture ;)
Fantastic new pictures of that city, jen_p! Great work!
Thanks for the comments.
Sebes, I don't think that the sims driving over all the rails would like it either, but it's not real life and it does look good, so why not?
Anyway, I was sorting through some papers and I found this old Metro map for Lutyens:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg523.imageshack.us%2Fimg523%2F7201%2Flutyensmetromapfu6.jpg&hash=c045b59df459e49e60442675d92541231b96effb)
These are great updates Jen.
You don't just add a GLR network and weave it into your city. you also make a complete map for it. :o
All I can say is wow!
That map is looking very nice! Great work on it!
Just to let everyone know, I haven't forgotten about my MD here, I have had (and continue to have) internet/router problems here, and I've also been very busy with RL. I always seem to be three times as busy in Nov and Dec compared to the rest of the year. Hopefully soon I'll have another update. I've been thinking about starting over with a new plugins folder and a new map.
Great news ! I can't wait to see more.
I love the last pictures. I never noticed an IKEA before, I have to go get that one.
A great update!
Well, my internet problems are fixed, so here's a quick update.
These are all from a city called Hamilton Ridge:

Excellent update, in particular that last shot where the row homes conform to the slope of the hill.
Nice to hear that you fixed your problems!
And a wonderful update there! Nice city!
I just caught the street references to "Tales of the City" ;)
and wonderful update (as usual :)) &apls
splendid update! as well as the city!
I adore this mixture of style &apls

I just caught the street references to "Tales of the City"
I was wondering when someone was going to pick that reference up. I guess no one has got any of the others yet.
I really like this update. Very colorful. Great work
wonderful! May I inquire as to where you got the red rowhouses in the last picture?
Another excellent update! Great pictures
Excellent Jen: Rolercoaster Ride - ending a Dutch flag pole. I love you ()flower()
Jen some wonderful last few updates since my last trip here!!!
This is one of the most interesting MDs/CJs I have ever stumbled upon. I like the randomness of everything, but especially the way it all seems to flow. Great tram networks, love the way they wind and curve around the buildings and streets. I also like those hilly neighborhoods you conjure up, complete with parks and terrace homes...
A new favourite of mine, no doubts!
PS -- Hope you had fun with Joseph and his Dreamcoat... productions are the best fun!
Owen
Toichus Maximus: The houses are by C.P. and I'm not sure if they have been released yet. I still have some test files sitting in my plugins folder.

I had so much fun. It was really hard work too, (I hadn't been in a musical for so long I forgot just how hard) but all the stress and lack of sleep was all worth it in the end.

Yes, a really nice waterfront there, Jen_P! Great work on it!
GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! &apls &apls
You've inspired me to try something new.
I've got a lot of work cut out for me. Roll out the bulldozer.
Keith
nice update jen- your waterfront is very nice. I love how the randomness of the buildings just seem to work in your cities.
well used set of those old homes and your coastal area looks nice too
Beautiful mixture there. The waterfront and coast remind me of Seattle. Actually, the whole thing reminds me of Seattle. Beautiful small town charm, mixed with big city blues. Just keep doing what you're doing.
WoW full the eyes it is splendid &apls I like much this style
Happy New Year, everyone.
Here are some more waterfront pics for you, this time from a small town called Eno Cove:
Firstly, an overview:

Welcome to page 21!
That city is looking very nice! Great new pictures of the harbor.
btw, REPLY NUMBER 400!! Congrats, Jen_p.

Very nice choise of houses Jen - very nice.. :satisfied: If it was a real city I'd love to live there.
jen wonderful just wonderful city of wyolette... Several updates has gone by since my last post here Jen and you have such a creativity its just wonderful!!!
Beautiful town, with hints of all parts of Europe all over it! I especially like how that modern building sticks out, sort of reminds me of Germany.
nice update jen  keep them coming ;D
That's a beautiful mosaic there! And great work on that area!!
Well, It's been a while since I updated here, and I find myself bumped down from a classic to a best seller. I guess it doesn't matter, really. Anyway, the reason it's been so long is that I've been putting a new plugins folder together, with the CAM. It is not complete yet, and I have some wrinkles to iron out, like maxis houses growing despite the no maxis mod, but here are my very first test shots:
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg515.imageshack.us%2Fimg515%2F7472%2Fcam1nr8.jpg&hash=b3e1fe1d9957e995c3c9dd24dc05ca864189ff9f)

Jen wonderful update here and I love the test shots...
Hello, jen_p!
It's been a while since I've been able to stop in and see your work, I apologize! And as usual, your work looks amazing! The farmlands in this latest update are particularly beautiful!
I'm all caught up and ready to follow along for more!
Dustin
That's looking nice, jen_p! Great work on the farms!
Only two images today, but they're progress - NO MAXIS! It turns out, all I needed to do was make sure the no maxis files load after the CAM.
For ages and ages people have been suggesting that I should get a slope mod, so finally I did, and the verdict is that I don't like it, so it is going into the recycle bin.

Wow, awesome use of the RHW! That interchange and the curves look very realistic! I can't believe Maxis left that out!
I will be following this MD!
Best,
-Haljackey
I love the RHW there jen :P I haven't posted here for a while too :'(
Yes, two very nice new pictures there!
And great using of the RHW!!
Looking forward to more...
Splendid use of the RHW, my friend! Keep up the good work!
Jen those are 2 great images I do say soo....
btw welcome to pg 22
This is my first look at your random cities Jen, and I have to say this is some of the best developed small town/city pics I've seen yet....I think you've inspired me to try my hand at developing small towns and cities instead of going for the skyline all the time....I really like how your farmlands and small towns look. I'll definitely come back to see what you share with us next
Nice to hear that you all like what I'm doing especially the small town type cities, I think they look much better than skyscraper forests. Here are some more CAM tests. I think I'm starting to get the hang of the differences in demand.

That's a nice CAM city there, Jen_p! Great work on it!!
Jen just wonderful and IM glad you have taken the plunge into CAM....
Well done on the CAM city Jen &apls Reminds me a lot of the smaller cities and towns in my neck of the woods.
Your work with the CAM is looking great, my friend! And the way you've used the RHW looks good, too! Keep up the good work!
lovely work jen, i recently started using some of your housing. its awesome.
Beautiful work, Jen! The variety in buildings is good, especially in the residential areas. I really like how that industrial area turned out, too.
Well, so far I'm really liking the CAM, I always think it looks kinda funny when you have a few skyscrapers amongst lots of lower density buildings, and so far the CAM has prevented that phenomenon. I also love the RHW, in my opinion, it has the best looking roads out of all the options, custom or maxis.
mightygoose, I'm glad you like the houses I made. I do plan to make more, I'm just not sure when, 'cause RL gets in the way.

I am liking what I see, there might be a real mix of styles in those homes yet it works very well, as that's how many a town develops..... over time, and hence the variety you get because of changes in fashion and the way people lives evolve. I also have to say the picture of brick industrials you posted earlier was excellent. :)
That some fantastic new CAM pictures there, jen_p!
Fantastic work!
CamTastic Jen !!!!
Great work! I do like that long factory along the railway line! But I just don't like that steep slope on the RHW
Nice Layour with the small church and the fontain in the previous update. The roads around its three side look good and add together with the fountain. I just think that a more discreet fontain than that golden mayor would've fitted better there ..
Take care (and don't forget to make backups!)
Bernhard
Great work, I like it. Nice usage of the CAM and the RHW-2 ;)
So do we have an update Jen, I would love to see how things are developing
I like your cities, and agree that it is difficult to stay with one region for an extended period of time. I usually begin to learn new techniques which don't always take to retrofitting into an existing city well. I like all the detail you put into the cities. Nice to look at!!
I agree with the rest, it would be awesome to see a new update from Jen.
Robin ;)
Waiting patiently here in the cold Northern Wisconsin state for such a wonderful update...
Very nice pictures.
Where do I find this station (http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/3603/cam15jh2.jpg) ?
Also waiting for a new update here, Jen_p! ;) ... (for ~47 days now)
