Wow !! excellent start ! &apls
Hey, it's great to see you over here, I've been following your work for a long time. :) Can't wait to use your Reliant Stadium, once I figure out how
to install it. ;)
New stadium looks awesome so far, by the way.
welcome to SC4D teemu! Ive always loved your stadiums and you really make the vanilla stadiums look like something you would find in a cracker jack box cant wait to see this new one done and please oh please do LP Field home of the Tennessee Titans :D
It's a pleasure seeing another devoted countryman of mine! ()stsfd()
Tervetuloa Teemu, I'll send you a PM in a minute!
WOW this is beautiful! my favorite stadium (by design). cardinals would definetely be my second favorite team after the pats, great work teemu.
I'm glad you decided to post your work over here too. I love your stadiums, and especially Reliant Stadium. I'm glad you're doing more NFL stadiums, because we need some good American football stadiums.

Not much progress can be seen in this pic, but here's what have been done since the last update:
- added windows in those vertical slots around the exterior walls
- put some work on the roof
- made about 70% of the lowest bowl (this is a bit tedious because the colouring of the seats is very asymmetric)
O man this is just incredible. good work teemu!
that looks beautiful right there  &apls

Unfortunately, people still will request them. :D

*nods in agreement* :P
In all seriousness, though teemu, this is excellent work. The ONLY request I would make would be perhaps a covered version of this one -- it could easily pass as a league stadium in covered form (there are very few stadia that an pass as such).

I remember there is a Japanese Bat Stadium that has a movable retractable roof, it opens and closes depending on the month, would something like that be possible with this?
wait a minute...the plural of stadium is stadia? learn somthing new everyday ;D
Call me silly for English not being my first language, but as far as I know the plural of stadium is just stadiums.

Stadiums is right, Stadia is more of slain/short hand form of saying Stadium, but its not technically correct - I got scorned on that last year from one of my university professors, but still commonly say Stadia instead of Stadium $%Grinno$%
Actually it would be an acceptable form for the plural, my dictionary gives it as an acceptable form.
In Afrikaans we have this (as a legacy from the Latin I assume) with Museums / Musea and numerous other words ending on -ium and / or eum.
Yeah, both are accepted. IMNSHO, though, stadiums just sounds clunky. Stadia is a much smoother sounding word. :)
Thanks for the comments everyone!
About the roof... My plan is to make the roof opened at daytime and closed at night. Also, as you probably know the stadium has a retractable field and I intend to include it too. At day it will be outside and at night it gets rolled in. These two features hopefully create the illusion that there is a game going on at night.
( confused %confuso ) ...but a Stadia is something completely different:
sta·di·a 1 (std-)
n.
1.
a. A telescopic instrument having two parallel lines through which intervals on a calibrated rod are observed, used to measure distances.
b. The parallel lines in this instrument.
c. The calibrated rod so used.
2. The technique of measuring distances with this instrument.
Maybe because you checked only under Stadia 1

Quotestadia 2
sta·di·a [stáydee ə]
noun
surveying technique: a method of measuring distances or differences in elevation using a telescopic instrument calibrated to correspond to distances from the surveyor
[Mid-19th century. Directly or via Italian < Latin , plural of stadium (see stadium)]

lol its amazing what a simple off topic remark can start...
QuoteMaybe because you checked only under Stadia 1
M - That must have been it then ... learn something new every day. ;D
To be honoust I like stadiums better but thats simply because I am used to use stadia in the way as definition 1 tells us. In Dutch the use of stadia as plural for stadiums would be considered "hyper correction", because the plural of stadium is stadiums ( in Dutch ).
Thank you for getting it fully explained. I hope Teemu_om had enough time to get another update of his marvellous stadium in the meantime because that is why we are here after all.
Ok, I kind of need something to clear up. Is it only North America as in USA or North America as Canada. People use both terms to describe the same country or another.
Just confused. Thats all.
BTW, it would be great if there is some Canadian Stadiums in there.
I think he means any stadiums on the North American continent, so that would include American, Canadian, and Mexican stadiums. ;)
although so far hes only done American Stadiums - in Canada all of our Stadiums are just plain ugly imo........
OMG, finally someone does these stadiums. This Model is so high quality! ;) Good work, Keep it up!
Btw, Do you do Canadian Stadiums, because idk why were considered to be North America too. :S Ah well, Awesome Work!
How is the stadium coming? I'm looking for more of your work!!!
