Hi there
Hope I placed this in the appropriate part of the forum, and sorry in advance if I didn't, please move it to proper part if need be!..
I downloaded the JENX Burg Eltz V12 on Friday I think it was and right away I fired up sc4 and went to making a nice island for the castle, a hilly island, the first island I made was a test island to see how the castle would look, it placed fine on the island, I placed it perfectly the first time and didn't add buildings around it or near it, and only placed nob's rental boat lot near the shoreline and then cp's trees, that island was fine, location of island bad they'll!..
So all day yesterday I made another island else where in the same City , this time I had plans to add peg's pond and stream kit around the castle, and I had not placed any of peg's stuff yet, and had placed the castle on the island in the wrong spot, I needed to move it, and the castle demolished, but left a rectangle square light green grass that wouldn't demolish or de-zone at all, it only would demo after placing another castle beside the light green rectangle square, it has a immortal problem, it also gives it to other lots as well that are placed to close to the castle, it made peg's streams immortal after plopping them around it, it took me 10 hours to make a island and constantly backing up and saving before each plop because of the dreaded immortal bug it had, but I finally got it done!..
Someone else reported on the stex comment area for the download that they had a building near by the castle they couldn't demolish as well!..
My cj at SimPeg shows the final island and castle with peg's work around it!.. [link] http://simpeg.com/forum/index.php?topic=4584.msg109941;topicseen#new
very very awesome castle &apls, it be easier to work with if it didn't have the immortal bug however!..
I hope I explained my situation ok thx :) Craig
Well, the model extends way over the actual lot footprint, so it doesn't surprise me that the immortal lot bug could be triggered. I haven't checked the internals of the lot so far, but I assume it is possible to fix the issue by editing the occupant size of the model.
Yes it is possible and I have PMed xannepan about this.
This has now been corrected and an updated file is now on the LEX.
