Title: Italian W2W Buildings
Post by: Lollo on December 31, 2007, 03:45:10 AM
Searching around SC fan forums I've found some W2W set for different city styles. There are Spanish lots, some based on Amsterdam, and also some Polish ones, if I remember correctly. But there are no BATs based on those buildings so common in Italian city, and I bet not only there.

HERE ARE A FEW EXAMPLES FROM ROME:

I hope to have raised an interesting proposal... thank you.

Oh yes...! ;D It looks very nice! But have you planned to create an entire set or it is a standalone project?

Well, I could come up with some more. Do you think you could provide me with more pictures of other buildings you'd recommend? (preferable straight frontal ones)

Oh yes... I'll look for more pictures and i'll upload them in short time.
Please consider that is hard to find this kind of building with ridged roof, they usually have flat ones (i'll provide photos of those too)

EDIT:Here are some pics
I think this [linkie] (http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=qzgcxzj17nrp&style=o&lvl=2&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=7471610&encType=1) is a good overall shot of what i mean.

This one is a corner building(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg139.imageshack.us%2Fimg139%2F1610%2Fcasams6.th.jpg&hash=4ead8194f7744648b36f0edd0c80e9530269ea09) (http://img139.imageshack.us/my.php?image=casams6.jpg)

And this [linkie] (http://www.superdossier.com/images/hotel/12183.jpg)is a hotel at night (good picture)

These [here] (http://www.canino.info/inserti/monografie/i_farnese/palazzo_roma/facciata.jpg) and [here] (http://www.palazzidiroma.it/PALAZZI%20DI%20ROMA%20DA%20PINO/Palazzi%20di%20Roma/IMG/Palazzi%20salvati/Palazzo%20Brancaccio/Palazzo%20Brancaccio%20-%20Facciata.jpg) are two of the most beautiful buildings in rome

Don't know why, but it is hard to find nice pics on the internet... In the next days I'll go around and make some photos... However as you can see with few variations it is possible to create a wide range of buildings (usually they go from 4 to 6 floors)
