http://www.bugmenot.com/view/sc4devotion.com Is this website legal? It gives out passwords, and useable accounts to this site, simtrolis, and many others that need a paid membership. Sorry is this already has a thread about it.
It is definatly not Legal... i would suggest not using it ever again... and the usernames will no doubt be blocked soon after the noticing of this thread

LOL! Why would someone need to use a fake user name when REAL registration is free?
I don't see the point. Why would it make this site illegal anyways?
To prevent any confusion I am going to lock this thread and allow for the appropriate Administrators to respond to this before any issues arise.
Thank you for bringing this to the attention to the Staff, it will be dealt with ASAP by the appropriate Admins.
After looking at the site it seems these are "dummy accounts" made for people to use to access the forums, or maybe the LEX. They do not seem to be accounts of actual users.

Thank you very much for bring that website back up to our attention. I came across it several months ago, but have not been back since. Sadly, it looks like I need to bookmark it and check in from time to time.
First, any member account we find listed on BugMeNot or any similar site will be permanently terminated immediately. The member involved, if he or she would want to contact us about that, had better have an extremely good explanation as to why nic and password info would be posted on such a site. We, in our sole discretion, will decide whether to allow that member continued privileges. The bottom line- don't share your SC4D nic and password info with anyone for any reason.
Second, as Hal (Haljackey) has pointed out, registration is free here. I don't agree, though, to the extent I would correctly read our friend's post, that BugMeNot is a harmless place. While SC4D has an open membership policy, we still retain the right to choose who we allow to be a member. Places like BugMeNot subvert that- they make the hard work of running this place just that little bit harder. You never know what might be the straw that breaks the camel's back...
I plan to check BugMeNot every few days for new additions. Three of the accounts listed there today appeared to have been valid ones. You may assume that they no longer work in providing access to this website.
