Some of the beautiful creations that I would like to download for my cities says "Euro tilesets." Does this mean these buildings/lots will not work in my US game? Please explain to this new SC4 downloader. Thanks so much!
"Euro Tileset" refers to the style of building it is. In SC4, there are 4 tilesets: Euro-Contemporary, 1880's Chicago, 1940's New York, and '90's Houston. Every growable building in the game belongs to at least one of these tilesets, and you can control the way neighborhoods look by choosing which tilesets you want to be built in your city (the little T-Square on the toolbar).
So when you see a BAT'd building that belongs to a certain tileset, that's what it refers to. It will work perfectly fine in your game (assuming you have all the dependencies, updates, etc.).
:) Somewhere deep in my ancient mind I knew that...I always click "build all styles at once" when building my cities. I guess I was trying to make things more complicated than they really are! All of y'all in this forum are great and very considerate of my newbie ignorance when answering my questions so politely. I really do appreciate that!
SC4 Downloader lets you queue up multiple files from the LEX that you want to download. Quite handy if you are trying to get caught up with dependencies.
