Not the region at its whole is pre-planned, but the particular cities are. First I created the capital cities in a symmetrically arranged way, then the corresponding outskirts. It took me some trial and error to get this result in the long run.

120 rays stand for the 120 cities EPU consists of. But it isn't that simple because there are
121. So the
red llama symbolizes both, the 121st city - the
capital Urbania Magna - and the whole country. Eventually the
blue stripes relate to EPU's
12 provinces, which do not cover the whole country.

Some great pics you have shown us here. And the region is so very well organised. It must have taken you AGES to create.
There is still one city that has to be built. Its name will be "Lutetia Nova Dextra" and it will have more sea walls, Euro street textures and maybe no palm trees any more. Now I'm quite busy and have no time for playing SC4. &mmm Maybe I'll begin with that city in the summer holidays, or even later, because I eagerly anticipate new buildings from three of my favourite BATters: Porkissimo, Xannepan and last but not least Debussyman. :)

I really like the octogonal street layout in the three progressiong pics. It's unfortunate that the geometry gets hidden behind the buildings a little bit, because it's a great idea!
