Title: help with city size
Post by: simonut on March 29, 2008, 04:35:26 PM
I made a new region with SC4 Terraformer, but it came out all small tiles.
How are you supposed to change it to large tiles without making the region all blank?

Any help will be appreciated

I'd like to know this, also. I haven't been able to find out anywhere else.

After already creating cities that is imposible, but you can however help yourself with some terraforming tools, where you can probably save the grayscale image of the terrain and of course you then have to modify the config picture in paint, where you make different tiles with different colors.
Does anyone know if it is possible to load regions from the system folder instead of the my documents folder?

The missing step is:  Once you have your patchwork region (or perhaps all flat) Global Tools: Import Region, and re-import your greyscale.

I know that is a quick answer, but it sounds like you have a general idea of what needs to happen.

Do you mean the Maxis Regions?  Copy/Paste them to MyDocs.  The regions in the system folder are backups, and you probably shouldn't use them.
