Post by: wir3d on April 05, 2008, 10:52:32 PM

Ok this has happened about three times already and I want to get to the bottom of this.

Ok

Computer Stats

2.09 Gb Of Ram
Intel Pentium
4 CPU 3.40 GHz

Ok now to the problem:

My problem is that when ever I get up to about 900 Mgbs my cities will not load up.  I can go into the region but when I click on the cities the load and then "proof" the screen turns black and the games crashes.  Ok I have about 3 mods,  Nam 07 and 08 and diagnol edges mod.  Someone please help.  I really want to play again.

I'm certainly not computer savvy by any means, but what I would recommend doing is taking out the three mods you've put in and see if it starts up. If it starts then, add your mods in--one by one, starting it each time you add a new one. If you add one in and it crashes, I would bet that mod is culprit.

Hope this helps, and welcome to SC4D!

And if that doesn't help, try updating your graphic engine drivers.

i had this problem with the columbus terrain mod.  try removing it if you have it.  i think one of the other mods i had was in conflict, but i had tediously sorted my pugins so that i could narrow down the problem.  and that was it.  hope this helps.  i know what its like when the game crashes.  i hate it too.
