Title: Trying to create an UHwy lot
Post by: HandsOn on April 18, 2008, 04:51:33 AM
I saw a tutorial on the LE, so I gave it shot. The tutorial says the resizing a parks lot to a depth of two, changing both textures and then placing it next to a NAM elevated road/rail bridge would cover the ugly green under the bridge. Exactly what I wanted to do, but did not work for me. And LE will not let me save a lot where the texture extends beyond the limits of the lot. Thus there must be some other trick (prop I guess) that allows for the making of, for example, a single lot extending a sign over a highway. Any help would be much appreciated..

Or am I asking for trade secrets..?  :P

First you need to make a 1x1 lot,
plop it in game
and than go back to LE and make the lot 1x2 (so the depth changes)
resave go back to the game and you find that the lot is now under whatever you placed it.
